I’m so bad at words, but the first time I talked to Katie..I knew I would love being a part of her and Rick’s wedding. It was going to be intimate and I was so excited their son, Archer was going to be a part of it, I knew it would make it even more special. They were so intentional with every detail and it truly was a magical night with all of their favorite people. So so lucky I was a part of it 💓

To do a first look or not? I remember Kristen’s heart was set against it, but thankfully for TikTok, she changed her mind 😂 I never want to push couples one way or another, but I’m soo happy they decided to do one, we got the sweetest photos and they were able to spend that extra time together. And let me tell you, there were still a ton of tears when she came down the aisle. What did you do for your wedding that you didn’t wish you would’ve done differently?

It is wedding season yet? I can’t believe this was a year ago already. The most perfect, intimate wedding at Olivia’s grandparents in Tucson, AZ. I can’t wait to celebrate their bigger wedding in May this year, but this one definitely holds a special place in my heart!

I think in the 16 years I’ve been shooting weddings, only 3 of them had dinner outside without a tent. I know the weather is so unpredictable in Michigan, but there is just something so beautiful about eating under the trees and twinkle lights. That’s why I love so much, it’s really such a special place run owned by some pretty amazing people. More weddings here please 💓
