I’ll never fully understand how I get so lucky, but somehow the most incredible people always find their way to me. The kind of clients who trust deeply, love fully, and invite me into such meaningful moments of their lives.

I love creating. Like really creating, the kind that fuels your soul and reminds you who you are. In Hawaii my daughter and I played in the sand, salty hair and sandy hands - while I snapped photos between whales breaching. It felt easy. Pure. Alive. I'm so grateful for photography. It's such a gift.

Sorry I’ve been quiet on here. After the busy seasons, it feels right, necessary even,to loosen my grip on the things that sometimes hold us too tightly. Including IG. Creating, living, being present… that’s where I’m at right now.. And it feels really really good.

Is there an actual word for the fear of never sharing all the beautiful images sitting on your computer? Because if so, I definitely have it.

Here’s one I happened to have downloaded to my phone… because let’s be honest, this Instagram game is no joke! I hope you don’t mind seeing fall photos trickle in well into winter — it might take me until next year to get all these amazing moments onto my grid. 🍂

This season has been wildly beautiful. Every day I thank God for the gift of doing what I love — creating art, freezing time, and telling family stories here in the Appalachian Mountains and beyond! Just back from a walk with my husband, and I noticed the very first hints of autumn in the trees 🍂🍁.
So before we slip fully into fall, I had to share this dreamy summer session!

This marks my fourth time photographing this beautiful family. They traveled all the way from Illinois to meet me in a sunlit Virginia field of flowers—and every moment was pure magic.

I adore them and feel so grateful they continue to trust me with their memories. ✨
