I want to take a moment and do a little reintroduction and share a piece of my heart with everyone!
Hi I’m Sydney, I’m a 25 year old photographer based in SWVA. I’m engaged to my sweet fiancé Asa, we are getting married in May!
I feel like I have always had a camera in my hand. I remember always having my siblings and friends pose for me, no matter where we were. I’m thankful that I have come a very long way since then! I got my first camera in 2016 and started booking sessions at the end of 2023. I had my first wedding in April of 2024 and will forever be grateful for the sweet couple for trusting me with their big day! Since then, I have photographed 17 weddings and have 4 booked for this year! I am so thankful and blessed!
My heart is truly in capturing the love between two people. Nothing makes me happier than getting to be apart of your story and documenting it in every season. From the couples session, to the wedding, to the maternity and the family sessions. It warms my heart to be trusted with your precious memories and to continuously be invited into your life. I believe that the candid moments are just as beautiful as the posed. I strive to capture those genuine smiles, laughter and happy tears. The gentle hugs from your toddler, the quiet moments with your loved ones before you walk down the aisle to your forever and all the moments in between. I capture the fleeting moments that often go unnoticed, but are just as important as the big moments. Life moves so fast, photos allow us to slow down. No matter what season of your life you're in, it deserves to be remembered. I want you to be able to hold onto the memories and all of the emotions felt for years to come. For every session and wedding day I am forever grateful and appreciative to be trusted with your most special moments.
I am booking 1-2 more weddings for this year! 2027 wedding bookings are OPEN! Dates for sessions are limited from now until March, as I will be taking April-June to prepare for and have my own wedding!
