These little guys always make my day, running back and forth and showing off their little red dewlap! The dewlap is primary found on adult males to attract mates, intimate other males or to defend their territory. 🦎📸

Yesterday I had a great opportunity to photograph this beautiful Barn Swallow up close! Growing up in Germany, they always remind me of home!
Barn Swallows are long-distance migrants that spend their summers here and winters in Central and South America.

Yesterday early morning by the marsh areas, I listened to lots of blue jays attacking something in the tall, faraway trees! So I investigated with my camera to see if I could find what they were making a big fuss about 📸

Good Morning ☀️

There's no better feeling than spotting an owl in the wild, and it's even more special when you get to see its owlets grow up for a while before they disappear into the deep dark woods. Moments like this make the time spent outdoors searching for incredible wild moments worthwhile. Over the last five years photographing, I've been consistently surprised and amazed by what nature has to offer 📸✨
