The Photo Gecko Hi! I'm Smo, The Photo Gecko! I specialize in natural moments, whether it be a bear grazing in the meadow or a human laughing at a joke.

I am a wildlife and event photographer currently living in Western Australia.


____How can you specialize in both wildlife and event photography? The ability to observe, predict, and photograph a subject in their natural environment without disrupting them is a core skill necessary for both wildlife and event photography.


___What does a gecko have to do with photography? The concept of being a

"fly on the wall" is key to capturing natural expressions as moments unfold. While living in Hawai'i for 6 years, I grew quite fond of the geckos I would find on the walls. Most people never notice them quietly watching from a distance, unless they were calling out for a mate of course lol. And how could I pass on a name that rhymes?!
