A little over 2 years ago, I had an idea of combining my love of night photography with my lifelong interest and respect for Native American culture. To make that idea a reality, I had to find the right person to collaborate with.
This year at the “Gathering of Nations” in Albuquerque, I had the good fortune to meet Percy Warcloud, a man who has led a fascinating life filled with service to his family, special needs children and his community. Without me fully explaining what I had in mind for this photo shoot, he graciously agreed to participate.
The images you see here were shot under dark Arizona skies in August. Looking at the results, I feel that Percy and I were meant to create these images together.
He encouraged me to make these photos physically available to the public and I am doing so in two forms:
1. Six Limited Edition images printed on metal that are numbered and signed and include Certificates of Authenticity. This group is titled “Celestial Watch – Percy Warcloud Series”, and;
2. Open editions also printed on metal but are not numbered or signed.
