Life Through Lenses

Life Through Lenses Life is an intense non-stop visual experience. Together we can throw a little more color on the darkness of the world.

My goal is to capture people at their happiest, in their bliss, in a place that I cherish where freedom reigns and love is the answer. I am a photographer/videographer/visual artist based out of Corning, NY. I was drawn to photography because of the beautiful nature around me and my passion for capturing live music and smiling faces. I have been operating professionally since 2014. I have extensiv

e experience in nature, weddings, festivals, live music, events, portraits, pets, and video. If you want to book me for a gig or a show contact me and we can discuss pricing.

Today we said goodbye to our beautiful Sugar Magnolia. This creature entered our life when I was always away shooting photos. Both Kelby and I ended up falling in love with her and more often than not we chose spending time with her over going places.

For many years she would go everywhere with us, loved riding in the car, and would happily walk miles around the hills and streets of Corning with me almost everyday for a while.

She shared love and affection in ways that no human could. She loved her people and was able to say goodbye to most of her favorites. Always the life of the party, she would always make sure to say hello and paw each person before chilling with everyone.

She passed away eating bacon, in our hands, with her titular song by The Grateful Dead playing in the background - a tiny dog with a big heart.

Earth said goodbye to this beautiful creature today. Rufio was an amazing companion for 17 years of my life. Anyone who crossed paths with her knew how much of a loving and special cat she was. Her energy was otherworldly and our connection was deeper than that I have with some people.

A day late, but I would like to honor pride month.
One thing that really stood out to me at Beardfest was the all inclusive and accepting atmosphere. I was so happy that one of the first places I saw was this big q***r safe haven area but that felt somewhat moot as the whole festival felt like that.
I grew up hearing a lot of things like "well it's fine with me as long as they don't touch me" or "I don't think I could still be friends with that person worried they are attracted to me". Despite my occasional insensitive use of gay slurs up until my early 20s or so (which I still hold myself accountable for), I still never felt this way. I always felt sympathetic to those who were affected by these attitudes because gay, straight, bi, or whatever you are, you should feel free to share your feelings with those who you are attracted to.
I watched friends and acquaintances throughout my life who were clearly afraid to come out because of the non-accepting atmosphere we lived in.
Fast forward to now when LGBTQ+ culture has become so normalized that we see it all the time in movies and on tv and I see people so comfortably at events being themselves. Now I know there is a lot of work to be done, and I know people still feel silenced by many corners of the world and there is a lot of work to be done.
To those struggling, there will always be room for all walks of life through my lens.
Love is love and everyone deserves to be who they truly are, as long as they aren't causing harm to others like the bigots of the world do by "being who they are".
Thanks for existing with me in this beautifully evolving world.

I'll be shooting photos at Mini Beard at the end of this month! Always admired this festival from afar when I was in the midwest.

My first festival back in a while! Who will I see in New Jersey?
