FUN FACT: If you show up to your headshot session wearing the most GORGEOUS pair of shoes - I’ll probably ask you to take them off immediately! I most definitely won’t be wearing any….cant have the creativity (or the fun) too constricted!!!

Your shoes aren’t going to show in your headshots, so think of your outfit choices like the perfect pageant mullet…business on top and party on the bottom!

Bonus points if I get to document your most awesome pair of socks!!

🎉 It’s photo shoot weekend for Maine Academic Scholarship Pageant !!

I look forward to this time every year, when I get to do exactly what I know I was meant to do! I’ve sponsored nationals headshots for MASP titleholders for over 10 years, and I’ve watched the program grow and evolve along with my business.

Photo shoot weekend weekend to me is about so much more than headshots, it’s about watching the girls’ confidence grow and relationships that last forever start to develop and that has been such a joy for me.

I’ve met so many amazing girls and women through this thing I love, and every one of them I consider a part of my family. Sometimes someone just touches your soul and you can’t help but love them and root for them like they were your very own, and Savannah is one of those girls. ❤️

On your special day, we hope you feel so loved and are having beautiful adventures as you navigate your college journey as a practicing adult. We love you always, gorgeous girl and we hope we get some hugs and laughs with you very soon! Have the best birthday!!! ❤️😘❤️🎉

Can I tell you a really real secret? 👀
As much as I LOVE creating pageant headshots and helping my girls build a brand that walks into the room before they even say a word…sometimes my creativity needs a little chaos. ✨

👢Sometimes I need the dramatic boots.
💄The bold makeup.
💃The editorial posing.

The music blasting in the studio while we create something that feels more like art than a checklist. The more I allow myself to step outside the box and create just for the love of it…the better I become behind the camera for EVERY client I photograph. 💕

Taking 30-minutes to pour into creative sessions like this before we pack up for a 5-hour travel, spark something in me again. They remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

And honestly? Your photographer should never stop creating.
