These dancers jumped straight to the top of my backlog — the depth and dedication in this program keeps growing in ways that genuinely amaze me. Between the dancers and their incredible team of instructors, the work put in was undeniable — their last performance was moment after moment of brilliance and pure fun. I’m on the edge of my seat (or holding a 2-minute plank 😅) waiting to see what next season brings! I had too many photos for just an instagram post and needed to make this a 2 parter. You ladies amaze me! (And gentleman, but I think this post is all girls!

Senior session number one is in the books for Jacobi! It was a HOT day and I was more than happy when I ended up in the lake to get her paddleboarding shots at the end! I’m sharing different sneaks here than on instagram so if you don’t follow me over there this is your notice to RUN (joseykayphoto) since I am- well, I’m often negligent at posting all the places but you can see lots as I often remember to post at least one of the places!

Jacobi was my first senior of 2027 and booked last fall, I was overjoyed then as I am now since I am having SO much trouble narrowing this session down to a reasonable amount of photos! What is that number? I’m also bad at being reasonable. Jacobi, I can’t wait to snap more of you over the year, thank you so much for trusting me with your senior memories!

State track gallery is put into the world! DM me if you wanted a link and didn’t get one!
To answer a few questions- Are these free? Yes, state track is offered free of charge. Digital downloads are free but I do leave the print sale shop open as a courtesy for those who want to print photos and don’t want to do any legwork. I went to grab a few photos of the Jacks competing and these are others I grabbed (largely of 8AAA kids) and wanted to share as the accomplishments are amazing and worth celebrating.
The the other question- Why are some kids in your galleries more than others? Well- pending on the sport some of them are my kids, so that is part of it 🙃 it’s also a perk of being one of my senior clients or someone I’ve worked with in the past as a client. The other variable is that Track is hard to capture when you can’t be in more than one place at a time (if anyone can help me duplicate myself please PLEASE hit me up), so if I am specifically shooting one individual or team I will likely get more images of the athletes in proximity to them; my lens is easily distracted by shiny things- I’m like a crow 🐦‍⬛ 🙃 if you want me to capture more of you or your athlete let me know and we can make that happen!

If you’re looking for a senior photography experience that is a bit out of the box and a lot open to adventure or have ever wondered if I could do your photos- or maybe you’re just longing for a senior experience that puts memories from across the year all in one place for you- let’s talk and see if we are a good fit!
I hate turning anyone down but due to the inclusive nature of the senior experience I wish to provide I can only take a select few per year - and I only have a few openings left. I can’t wait to see who else I get to capture and what we can create together 💜

Lumberjack middle school album is ready to go, I am positive with the busy day (had the end of school for my Littles, the varsity meet, and then dashed to orchestra 😬) I didn’t get nearly everyone so these are with my compliments. Downloads are free as the wind but I did leave the shopping cart enabled in case you’re like me and would rather just click a button and have them arrive at your door! Can’t wait to see these kids moving up next year on the track and in the field!
