We loved getting to spend a day creating special memories at Itasca State Park. It was a day full of seniors, families, and maternity that this sweet duo kicked off the day with lots of giggles.

With spooky season here we are having so much fun in the studio. From classic fall to Halloween sets including "The Creepy Dolls" which makes for some pretty fun seasonal decor and epic memories.

We spend a lot of time at the studio so when clients ask for special locations we get pretty excited. Sometimes we even end up making a whole day of it at that location. Which is what we did with Itasca this week.

Now. this sweet couple and I ventured north of Duluth this summer to capture their initial maternity images and we could not resist the chance to have some fun at the headwaters of the Mississippi. Mama had me holding my breath as she walked the rocks to cross the headwaters for the first time in her life, what a fun story to go with her beautiful photos.

And speaking of adventure, as we arrived at our beach location the clouds rolled in, bringing thunder, a light rain and some lighting. We definitely have stories to go with the photos. But aren't they gorgeous, worth all of the chaos to get them!!
