🚌📚✏️Back to School Photos at the Porch Studio!!✏️📚🚌

Kids and teachers!! Come hang out with me for a 15 minute back to school session, and just be yourself! It’s so obvious all these kids I got to photograph last year had SO MUCH FUN! I can’t wait to do them again this year. Yall 🥹 Last year Sunny was my model because she was going to kindergarten, but I think this year I’ll have to make my oldest Gemma model- she’s going to be a senior. 😭 These photos are priceless to me and I know you’ll feel the same. 🥹

Lauren & Brent, who told me there’s no way Raina and Wylie will be able to just pose for a 45 minute family session. Could we maybe just go on a family hike instead? Yes, always yes. And Raina’s dirty dress at the end of this session is a great sign I did my job well.

I like photographing families. I ✨LOVE✨ being able to photograph your family in a longer lifestyle format. As a hired historian of your family, I need for you to see what it looks like when your family interacts with each other. When you comfort each other, dance and laugh together, and hold onto each other. When I can show your real life to you, and help you see how meaningful it is- help you hold onto those moments as they are actively slipping through your hands, I am absolutely doing what I was meant to do as a photographer.

Most people don’t want to sit or stand or pose. They want to be together in the way they know how, just be. Even when I photograph families who’s goal is to get one photo of everyone looking at the camera, and those are the images they will print or show to everyone- I’m still drawn to and deliver the in between moments. The moments AI can’t make for you out of thin air.

So, here I am again. Telling you how valuable these moments are and we just get a few of them before they’re gone. I’d love to talk with you about how we can make your memories last. My Summer and Fall books are open.

🌱😍I had the absolute pleasure of attending a content evening at The Venue at Texas Farmhouse Blooms in Belton, and oh my goodness. 🥲 I have been watching Libby build this place on social media for a while, but the videos she has been posting truly do not do it justice. I said it to her so many times while I was there, and I know I'm repeating myself but it's just the exact right description- it's really something special. And it's not just the gorgeous Green House! So many spaces that will be just perfect light in the spring, the Fall, and for Christmas. Well done, Libby! Truly.

Levi is 15!

I have been fortunate enough to raise my kids alongside some beautiful friends. I have been photographing Levi since before he was born. My best friend Steph (his Momma) was my very first maternity session. And now I am lucky enough to still know and love their family, and photograph their family as it grows. These photos are from Aubrey’s senior year of high school when she had just decided to cheer at the University of Texas! The last 3.5 years we have watched for Aubrey on the sidelines or on the court of every UT game, and she’s been there FLYING IN THE AIR pretty much every time!! Swipe to see the coolest aerial ever, that she just completely threw out of nowhere. I was not ready for it, And yet it’s one of my favorite photos!

In just a few weeks I get to photograph Aubrey again, this time to celebrate her graduating from UT! So excited for you Aubrey, and it has been a straight up blast watching you do your thing the last little while!
