☺️And... that's a wrap.

🎓Cap & gown photos are done for all who wanted them, & my season of photographing Homecoming, Prom, & Commencement at the school has come to a close. I hope that the next photographer to fill this role will be well supported & warmly welcomed. ☺️

I'm so grateful for the photographic opportunities I've had with the students I grew to love dearly as their nurse for almost 5 yrs. Its been fun watching them grow into graduates! 🥰

My photography journey is gradually heading in a different direction, & I'll share more about that in due time. (I'll still be offering some senior & family photo sessions.)

No appointment needed! Just show up with your cap, gown, tassle, stole, & cords.

Big Boy 4014 is rolling through Iowa this week, and today was near my house, literally. Hundreds of people came to town to see it, and I left town to photograph it. 🤣 It was incredible to be so close and feel the power of it rumbling under my feet from 25' away.

🎯Attn: BPHS parents of Seniors🎯... I've been contacted by 4 parents of seniors who wanted cap & gown photos but their graduate didn't have their picture taken on Sunday. It was not mandatory (though it may become mandatory in upcoming years🤞)

(Dawn said the kids should have their gold stoles & cords, caps & gowns).

🎯 So, if you do want a cap & gown photo of your graduate, please comment below or email me at [email protected] so I can coordinate a time with Dawn to set up & do the photos again.

I went out during the little snowfall today, since the snowflakes were fluffy and huge. Watching them land with the wind pushing them along, it struck me how truly fragile they are. Very few landed intact. Each is beautiful and unique, fragile and flawed.
