A little appreciation post from behind the camera. 🤍📷
Sometimes I think the part of photography that means the most to me is also the part that my clients never get to see.
You see the final gallery. The smiles, the little details, the tears, the laughter, the people you love, and the moments you never want to forget.
But behind every gallery are hours and hours of work that happen long after I leave your session or your wedding day.
There are countless hours spent going through every single image, choosing the moments that tell your story, editing each photo individually, paying attention to skin tones, light, colors, details, emotions, and all of the little things that make *your* gallery feel like you.
Photography, to me, has never been just about taking a picture.
I am a storyteller. I get to tell your story through my eyes and my lens. I get to freeze pieces of your life that you can come back to years from now and remember exactly how you felt in that moment.
And honestly, it is an incredible honor that you trust me with that.
From the first days with your newborn, to growing families, milestones, couples, engagements, seniors, and wedding days — you are trusting me with pieces of your life that can never be recreated.
That trust means more to me than I could ever put into words. 🤍
There are also a lot of unseen hours and energy that go into creating your final gallery. Sometimes that means late nights editing after my own family is in bed after long days of work. Sometimes it means choosing to spend my free time behind my computer because I want to make sure I have given your images the time and attention they deserve.
I don't say that for sympathy or to make anyone feel guilty. I say it because I think sometimes we forget that the final images are only one small piece of everything that goes into creating them.
Every gallery represents someone's time, creativity, energy, and heart.
And I pour a lot of mine into yours.
So to every single person who has ever stepped in front of my camera — THANK YOU! Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for allowing me into some of the most important and ordinary moments of your life.
Thank you for letting me document your *simple moments.*
It truly is an honor, and I will never take that for granted. 🤍
