Portraits of Hope Photography Portraits of Hope is an annual event held to provide free portraits for cancer survivors and their f I support local business, especially restaurants!

I am a 30-something husband, father, friend, son and photographer. When I’m not taking photos I work in the medical field as an oncology scheduler. I enjoy serving at my church and spending time with my wife and two daughters. I’ve lived in Dayton and the Greater Dayton area my whole life. (I love to eat!)



I love taking photos! I purchased my first camera in 2010 (Canon Rebel). I shot as a hob

byist for a long time. I’ve taken pictures of friends, families and events. Eventually people started offering to pay me to take pictures of their families. I took them up on this offer. My photography has since evolved into what it is today. I have now taken photos of families, weddings, maternity, engagements and much more. I enjoy the art of photography. It gives me a chance to try and capture a moment and make it last a lifetime. I try my best to connect with other local photographers to learn more and become better at my art.

Hello All! Just a quick update on Portraits of Hope 2026. It may just be me taking photos this year. Typically we have at least one cancer resource and the Miami Valley Pet Therapy Association (MVPTA), but I haven’t received any email/messages back from anyone this year, and that’s ok! I’m glad those other entities are staying plenty busy!

At any rate, I’d like you all to ramp up sharing the event and sign up page. Can’t wait to see everyone! It’s going to be a blast!
