August really came in swinging with back-to-school, sports starting back up, kids’ activities, schedules changing every five seconds, and me being pulled in approximately 47 different directions. 😵‍💫
Between mom life, work, and trying to remember where everyone is supposed to be and when… I feel like I blinked and the entire month disappeared.
But we made it. And honestly, I’m ready for a fresh start with September and ALL the fall things. 🍂🤎
More sessions, more beautiful families, more time behind my camera, and hopefully just a tiny bit less chaos.

Two years.
I keep typing that and it still doesn’t feel real.
Two years ago, Chrissy Lee Photography was just a dream I couldn’t stop thinking about. I had no idea where it would lead, I just knew I loved documenting the little moments that become the big memories.
Now, here we are.
I’ve watched families grow, welcomed newborns into the world, chased toddlers through fields, celebrated milestones, and had the privilege of preserving so many stories. There are still days that I can’t believe this is what I get to call my job.
To every family who has booked a session, shared my work, recommended me to a friend, cheered me on, or simply followed along, THANK YOU! You turned my dream into something real, and I’ll never be able to put into words how grateful I am.

Maybe it’s because my kids are getting older, but every summer feels a little more precious than the last.
The bubble wands, the picnic blankets, the sticky fingers, the endless requests for one more popsicle, one more swing, one more trip outside before bedtime.
In the middle of it all, it’s easy to think we’ll always have summers like this.
But one day these little faces will be bigger, the evenings will be quieter, and these ordinary moments will become the memories we wish we could revisit.
That’s why I love photographing families this way—not perfectly posed, but together. Laughing, playing, snuggling, and simply being in this season of life.
Because these are the moments worth remembering. 🤍

The newborn stage is gone in the blink of an eye. Tiny details, sleepy cuddles, and so much love packed into such a short season. It’s one of my favorite seasons to photograph, and I never take for granted the privilege of documenting these first days for families.
