Here are a few tips from your photographer! 🥰👀

First, choose two or three complementary colors and build everyone’s outfits around that palette.

Start with the person who has the hardest outfit to choose, usually Mom and coordinate everyone else from there. ➡️

Neutral and earthy colors photograph beautifully, but don’t be afraid to add a little color that fits your personality. Just try to avoid neons, patterns, and logos.

Think about your location and the season. Your outfits should compliment the setting, make sense for the weather, and still feel like you.

Make sure to pack essentials for the children...bring a backup outfit, wipes, snacks, and whatever needed to keep them happy and clean!

Getting a front row seat to capturing love stories never gets old. 💜

Love a good love story and getting to watch two souls choose each other, two families become one, and you get to witness the beginning of someone’s forever. There’s just something so special about capturing a love that found its way home. 🥲

And as for the rest of us watching all these beautiful love stories unfold... baby, where the hell is my husband?! 😂👀

Until then, I’ll just keep capturing everybody else’s happily ever after.

You pray for an amazing photographer, and I pray for amazing clients… and that’s exactly what I got with these two. 🤎

There’s something so refreshing about watching two people God has joined together become husband and wife. Hearing their vows of love and commitment, then getting to capture all of those beautiful “firsts”. Their first kiss as husband and wife, their first dance, and the beginning of their forever. 🥹💍

Behind the scenes, wedding days can get a little hectic, but that’s where we flip the script! As your photographer, and DOC at heart, my job goes beyond taking beautiful pictures. I want to make sure you can breathe, be present, and truly enjoy one of the biggest days of your life.

One of my favorite moments was their first touch. They needed those few minutes to simply breathe, check on one another, and remind each other, I’m right here and to breathe. There’s something special about couples who are a safe space for one another, and my prayer is that you two continue to be that for each other for a lifetime.

Thank you for choosing me to capture the moments in between…from your engagement session, to the laughter, the love, the tears, and now all the beautiful firsts of forever. 🤎

They spoke life into me, supported me, trusted me, and allowed me to witness such a beautiful chapter of their story. I’m truly honored.
