Good Morning
I'm thrilled to share with you a stunning capture of a beautiful Great Grey Owlet. It was flying straight towards me, and I managed to snap a full-frame shot, which initially made me hesitant as it only shows a portion of its body; however, upon closer inspection, I realized that the unique composition was actually a blessing in disguise. The focus on those piercing eyes and the wings coming forward, beautifully framing its face, creates a sense of drama. It's not every day you get to see an owl up close and personal like this, and I must say I'm quite fond of being different and pushing the boundaries of conventional photography. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฆ‰โค What do you think ?

Here is a short-eared owl doing a wing clap, which it does for courtship or territorial defense, as well as to communicate and startle competition. They snap their wings together up to 10 times per second, making a sound like a whip-crack or applause, sometimes called sky dancing ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฆ‰I hope you enjoy this beauty

Good Morning
I'm thrilled to share an incredible Osprey close-up shot that's sure to leave you in awe! ๐Ÿ˜ It looks like he's skiing ๐Ÿ‚on top of the red Kokanee fish, lol, holding on with his right-side talon while the other talon is tucked up, showcasing his impressive hunting skills. I'm absolutely loving how he has his wings up midair, with his neck stretched forward, giving us a glimpse into his focused mindset - you can clearly see he's on a mission to catch his prey! ๐ŸŸ His feathers are perfectly ruffled, and the way he's positioned himself on the fish is just remarkable, with his sharp eyes fixed on the prize. The clarity of this shot is perfect, as it shows all the intricate details of his body, from the texture of his feathers to the sharpness of his talons. This shot is a testament to the Osprey's incredible hunting prowess, and I feel so lucky to have witnessed it, and share it with you ๐Ÿฅฐ. ๐Ÿ™

Good Morning
I haven't posted my stunning boy Woodrow for a while now, and I thought today would be the perfect day to share his handsome face with all of you. I just loved this shot of him in the rain - it was a cooler day, and the way he was breathing with steam coming out of his nostrils was just so cool! Plus, all that lush green surrounding him makes him stand out even more. You can just see the majestic beauty of nature in this photo. Woodrow is a stunning APHA American Paint Horse, and I'm so proud to call him mine. He's a big boy, standing tall at 16 hands and weighing a strong 1400 lbs. His unique color pattern is called a Grullo Tobiano, and it's truly one of a kind. I just can't get enough of him! โค๏ธ๐Ÿด

Good Morning
I'm thrilled to share with you a rare encounter that I've never experienced before while out photographing owls in the wild. I've had my fair share of exciting moments behind the lens, but this one takes the cake! So, here is something entirely different that I haven't seen around where I usually go snapping pics of owls, so needless to say I was completely taken aback and surprised to see this stunningly beautiful female young bobcat walking towards me with a curious gaze. Her fur was a gorgeous tawny brown color with a subtle sheen to it, and her eyes seemed to sparkle with a mix of caution and curiosity. I felt like I was in a wildlife documentary, lol ๐Ÿ˜ and I couldn't believe my luck! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿฅฐ

Here is a fascinating encounter between two lovely short-eared owls facing off with each other in a thrilling territorial standoff ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก. Did you know that short-eared owls are known to be fiercely territorial and protective of their hunting grounds. When they enter another owl's territory, they can get quite testy with each other, leading to an intense chase around the area until one of them backs down and leaves. In this captivating scene, you can see the one on top trying to intimidate the one below, puffing out its chest and spreading its wings to appear larger. Meanwhile, the one below is not backing down, standing its ground with its talons up to eight back, ready to defend its territory. The tension is palpable as they engage in a staring contest, each waiting for the other to make the first move. In the end, the one on the bottom flew away without getting hurt, It's a remarkable display of owl behavior, showcasing their strong instincts and determination to protect their territory at all costs. ๐Ÿฆ‰๐Ÿ’ช

Happy Friday Everyone! Here is a Big splash ๐Ÿ’ฆwith that bright โค๏ธred Kokanee salmon, amazing how strong those osprey pull these big fish out of the water like this! ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿฆ… I mean, can you believe the power and agility of these incredible birds of prey? They dive down from the sky, talons extended, and scoop up their unsuspecting prey in a split second. And the Kokanee salmon, what a fighter! They put up quite a struggle, but in the end, the osprey's strength always prevails. It's truly a remarkable sight to behold! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ฆ. ๐Ÿฅฉ.
