It’s been a quiet couple of months on my page, but quite literally the craziest behind the scenes!

I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone for your patience during this time, as the changes have been plentiful. The biggest one, however, is that we’ve moved! We’ve gone from Southwest Washington to Northeast Washington this month. While it’s been difficult adjusting to not being with our friends, family and dog community, we’re excited for the opportunities that come along with this move. We now own a beautiful 20 acre property that will allow us to grow and pursue some passions that we’ve put in hold!

So what does this mean for Elise Berg Photography and the events I cover in Western Washington? Not a lot will change, I’m currently preparing to head back for the Pacific NW Barn Hunt Valentine trial in a couple of weekends and I have some other events scheduled in Western Washington throughout the year. I will likely be making announcements for portrait session availability when I’m in the area for events, and plan to make special trips to schedule special sessions like the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival and/or summer flowers! If you have interest please reach out now so I can start planning! 🥰

So excited to finally have branding for Elise Berg Photography that feels RIGHT. A brand identity that perfectly encompasses my love of photography for people and/or their dogs 🐾 🌲

As a photographer it can be feel daunting to create an identity that feels personal and unique, as there are so many talented individuals in this space. On the flip side, it can be hard having multiple interests as a photographer and trying to combine them cohesively (family, couples, portraits, pet portraits, dog sports, etc) 😅

I’ve known for quite some time that I wanted to work with Cindy Roaming Designs, and was finally able to make it happen! Cindy understood the assignment, making the process seamless and so enjoyable.

Most importantly, my branding includes my heart breed and heart boy, which I feel truly emphasizes the significance of connection to me and my work. Now when you see me in the wild, just know that I’m silently (or possibly not so silently) giddy over any branded banners, business cards, clothing, etc. I get to represent 💛

Sneak peaks from WSOTC’s first inaugural AKC Scent Work trial (Sunday only)!

I'm working through these as quickly as I can and expect to be done editing and uploading by tonight. It was great getting to cover a new sport and work with a new club; the event went so smoothly I almost couldn’t believe it was their first AKC Scent Work trial!

Thank you to the event committee for inviting me to come cover this event, I can’t wait to officially get these photos to the competitors.
