17 years ago today, my wife made this simple Facebook post.

At the time, we had no idea what that little post would turn into.
A couple of brave friends took a leap of faith and trusted us with their weddings and family photos. One opportunity led to another. One wedding turned into hundreds. One session turned into thousands of moments captured.

Fast forward 17 years…
Today, Ezekiel e. Photography has photographed hundreds of weddings and captured thousands of moments for families, from headshots to maternity sessions to life’s biggest milestones.

Along the way, we’ve also had the privilege of mentoring photographers in Miami who have gone on to run their own successful businesses.

Just last week, we even had the opportunity to teach a photography class to the 8th graders at Tulsa Classical Academy and share some of what we’ve learned with the next generation.

Somewhere along the way, that boyfriend became a husband, and we became parents to three incredible boys. Now the twins are starting to learn the craft themselves. Ephraim especially loves being behind the lens, capturing events right alongside me.

Watching this grow into a family business has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

To every single person who has trusted us with your moments, from family photos to weddings, THANK YOU. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to capture your stories.

And as we look ahead, when you book with us, you’re not just booking a session, you’re helping train up Ephraim and Elijah in entrepreneurship, creativity, and the art of storytelling through photography.

Here’s to many more years of Ezekiel e. Photography.

Your Story Matters. Let’s Tell It Together.

Madelyn + Brandon | 02.07.2026 Some weddings feel planned. This one felt woven.

Inside the historic The Refinery at the Johnstone-Sare Building, built in 1910, raw brick and industrial texture met vintage glam elegance. Ornate lighting. Old-world textiles. Hints of gold. A warm, opulent atmosphere that felt both nostalgic and alive.

From the Gameday walk-up with the groomsmen to a Godfather-inspired portrait session. From laughter in coordinated PJs inside the bridal suite to three generations embracing. From a father’s emotional first look to Brandon shedding a tear as Madelyn walked down the aisle. But one of the most powerful design elements of the entire day was not just décor. It was history.

Four vintage wedding dresses once worn by great-aunts and grandmothers were displayed alongside six-foot black-and-white portraits. One grandmother stood at the wedding, and in a quiet moment, Madelyn stood before her grandmother’s dress as stories from decades past were shared again.

Hands were raised in worship. Vows were spoken. A kiss sealed a year of anticipation.

And then the celebration unfolded. Rooftop portraits overlooking Bartlesville. Breakfast for dinner, the groom’s favorite. A deconstructed cake cart experience guests will be talking about for years. A perfectly choreographed first dance. A packed dance floor that never slowed.

But here is what made this day truly special. It was co-authored. Every detail, every layer, every seamless transition was orchestrated by Karie MacLeod and her team . Karie did not just coordinate this event. She wove it. From design cohesion to timeline precision to vendor collaboration, she created the conditions that allowed every artist involved to do their best work.

Because of her leadership, I was able to tell this story the way it deserved to be told. Alongside her were the Knot Weavers, the artists and professionals who tied every intentional thread together.

Thank you Madelyn, Brandon and Karie!

2025 | Year in Review
Ezekiel E. Photography

2025 was a year of growth, clarity, and commitment.

Entrepreneurship sounds romantic. No boss. No clock. Creative freedom.

The reality is quieter. You wake up every day without structure and choose purpose anyway. You build something people don’t yet know they need. You learn how to tell the story before the work can sell itself.

That’s what this year was about.

On our quest this year, we focused on helping professionals and businesses look credible, trustworthy, and worth choosing. Our work expanded well beyond photography into full brand and marketing support.

These days, we aren’t selling photos. We help our clients stand out, build trust, and convert attention into real business.

In 2025, we worked across commercial, editorial, sports, and event spaces. We also helped launch new brands from the ground up. From athletic programs and high-end events to commercial brands and growing businesses, the common thread was the story.

Weddings remained a meaningful part of our year. With thoughtful planning and trust, we documented stories in a way that allows couples to truly relive the day's emotions.

Outside of client work, we launched our first family-led fundraising campaign, Courage Builds Dreams, helping our twins raise funds through story, purpose, and community rather than simple asks. The boys have already raised 80% of their goal, a powerful reminder of what happens when community rallies behind a shared dream.

Behind the scenes, everything shifted. Ephraim began second shooting while Elijah stepped into content creation. And my wife left her teaching career to join the business full-time. Ezekiel E. is now fully family-run.

We’re not trying to be the biggest agency.

We’re building something focused, sustainable, and human.

2025 shaped us.
2026 is about refining it.

Excited to post this teaser as we get closer to Madelyn & Brandon’s I DO date in February 🍾 We had a fabulous time walking the grounds of the Boat House in OKC. Most definitely a photographer's playground chocked full of modern lines and stunning compositions—the ideal location for us all to break the ice and prep for the wedding day. And the weather, yes, it was an unseasonably 74° in December 😮. It reminded me of Miami this time of year for a sec. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Honored to Be Featured in Tulsa Real Producers

It’s not often I’m on the other side of the camera, but Tulsa Real Producers made the whole experience a blast, and sharing it with my boys made it even better. I’m grateful to be featured in their December issue and for Lily Chris Photography, who absolutely crushed the photos. Thank you for telling our story so well.

It’s also been such a pleasure being one of Tulsa Real Producers’ regular photographers this year. I’ve had a lot of fun working with all of the amazing clients they’ve sent my way. Looking ahead to many more stories yet to be told.
