šŸˆ FIRST LOOK AT THE BOBCATS.

Tonight, the Bell County Bobcats hit the road to Hazard for their first scrimmage of the season.

I’ll be on the sidelines tonight capturing the first action of the 2026 season and giving you a look at this year’s Bobcats.

If you’re making the trip to Hazard, I hope to see you there.

Let’s get this season started. 🐾

Some traditions never change.
For years, I've had the privilege of photographing Bell County Football Media Day. As a proud Bell County alum, it's one of the days I look forward to most each season.

This year was different.

After all of the photos were completed, we gathered two helmets and a football and placed them together.

Not for the season. Not for a game.
For Henry Rutherford.

Henry wasn't just the Bell County Football Equipment Manager. He was part of the heartbeat of this program. For decades, he faithfully served generations of Bobcats, never seeking recognition and never asking for applause.

This wasn't just another photograph. It was a thank you. A reminder that while players, coaches, and seasons come and go, there are people whose quiet service becomes part of a program's legacy.

This one is for you, Henry.
Forever a Bobcat.

Every now and then, a meal resets the standard.

Today was one of those days.

Hands down, the best burger I’ve ever eaten came from Adorno’s. Fresh local beef, incredible toppings, and a house-made sourdough brioche-style bun that takes it to another level.

It’s the kind of meal that reminds you why supporting local matters.

If they’re anywhere near you, find the truck and grab a burger. Trust me… you’ll thank me later.

Worth the Journey

Standing on Maryland Heights, it’s easy to understand why Thomas Jefferson called this view ā€œworth a voyage across the Atlantic.ā€

More than 240 years later, the Potomac and Shenandoah still meet beneath these ridges, the trains still cross the river, and the mountains still remind us that some places refuse to be hurried.

Go visit this beautiful place if you haven’t been there before…it’s worth the journey šŸ˜‰

Exploring downtown DC…Lately I’ve realized I’m not collecting photographs.

I’m collecting reminders.

To slow down.
To pay attention.
To be grateful.
To live a life that matters.

The camera captures the moment.
