We took a short trip up to Boothbay Harbor, Maine to get a look at the puffins. Eastern Egg Rock Island is the area where you can see puffins. The National Audubon Society estimates that there are about 200 pairs of nesting puffins on the island.

A few years ago, the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) completed a tunnel underneath the East River and parts of Manhattan to link the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Grand Central Station. I've been meaning to take a look at this place since it was opened up. I took the train from NJ into Penn Station, took the LIRR to Jamaica and then to Grand Central "Madison". This station is approximately under 47th Street whereas the original Grand Central Station is on 42nd Street. There is a underground corridor which connects the two.

The Orkney Wireless Museum in Kirkwall, Orkney, Scotland, houses a collection of domestic and military wireless equipment. It developed from the private collection of the late Jim MacDonald from St Margaret's Hope and marks the importance of wireless communications in Orkney during World War II.
