ProRes RAW with the Canon EOS R6 V is now available!

AtomOS 12.7.0 introduces ProRes RAW recording compatibility with the Canon EOS R6 V across Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO, Ninja TX, Sumo PRO-19 and Sh**un AV-19.

Recording RAW gives you significantly more latitude to grade and adjust footage in post, without the quality loss you'd get from internal codecs, so your images maintain quality even in difficult lighting environments.

We've been putting together a live production workflow that combines a Waterbird camera dolly and a Panasonic AW-UE150A PTZ camera, both controlled from a single controller. Even better, control is transmitted wirelessly using the AbonAir AB4000, with the transmitter mounted directly on the dolly and the receiver feeding the system.

AtomOS 12.7.0 is now available for Sh**un AV-19!

Introducing major new capabilities for multi-camera production alongside expanded camera compatibility, improved workflow control, and enhanced system reliability.

H.265 ISO Recording for Multi-Camera Productions
AtomOS 12.7.0 adds H.265 ISO recording when using Multiple SDI Inputs, allowing productions to efficiently capture individual camera feeds while significantly reducing storage requirements. The addition of H.265 makes multi-camera recording more practical for longer productions, live events, and high-volume workflows.

Faster Editing with Final Cut Pro XML
To streamline post-production, the update now generates Final Cut Pro XML files that automatically reflect live switching decisions made during Multiple SDI Input recording sessions. Editors can immediately recreate the live cut in Final Cut Pro, dramatically reducing the time needed to prepare projects for editing and finishing.

Camera Control
Sh**un AV-19 now supports Camera Control, enabling operators to adjust supported camera settings directly from the touchscreen. Depending on camera compatibility, users can control functions such as aperture, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and touch to focus, helping crews work faster with fewer interruptions.

ProRes RAW recording support for:
- Sony Electronics α7R VI
- Canon EOS R6 V
- Leica Camera SL3-P
For Sony α7R VI users, the update also introduces camera filename matching during RAW recording, making media management faster and more intuitive throughout post-production.

Greater Workflow Control
To give users more flexibility when working with Camera to Cloud, AtomOS 12.7.0 introduces a new option to disable C2C uploads while recording. This allows productions to prioritise recording performance when required, while still taking advantage of cloud workflows whenever they're needed.

Improved Performance & Compatibility
The update also includes several important reliability improvements, including:
- Enhanced compatibility with a wider range of CFexpress Type B media.
- A fix for UHD-to-HD output downscaling at 23.98 and 24 fps, ensuring accurate monitoring across more production environments.
