Hi NoCo families! I'm Carol Dunnigan and it is way past time I properly introduced myself! 👋

I'm equal parts Clark Griswold, Monica from Friends, Vanessa from Last Man Standing, and just enough Edith Bunker to keep things interesting! 😄 I will straighten a crooked picture in a restaurant. Genuinely terrified of heights, fire, and sharp objects. Proud wife, mom, grandma, and dog mom to a 14 year old Siberian Husky who absolutely runs the house! I love hiking and reading and I have called Northern Colorado home since 2013! Bucket list? NYC at Christmastime, a Pacific Coast Highway road trip, and Fall in the Northeast - if you've been to any of these please tell me everything!

I've been capturing life's most meaningful moments since 2009! I photograph high school seniors, families, maternity, engagements, personal branding, and commercial clients all across Northern Colorado! Seniors are my specialty and my absolute passion - but if there's a moment worth remembering, I want to be there for it!

I also run Carol's Crew - my exclusive rep program for NoCo high school juniors! Quarterly styled shoots, community service, special events, and friendships that last way beyond senior year! The Class of 2028 waitlist is open right now!

Wondering when to book senior pictures in Northern Colorado?

Senior year is HERE and it is moving fast. If "senior pictures" is still sitting on your to-do list, this one's for you, moms!

I wrote a whole post breaking down exactly why booking early makes such a difference. Yearbook deadlines, Senior Sundays, fall schedules that get packed before you can blink.

The families who book early are the ones who actually enjoy the experience. The ones who wait are the ones texting me in a panic in September.

Kendall used to live in the Greeley area. She moved away, but when she saw the senior pictures that her former classmate had taken, she wanted THAT photographer! ❤️

So she and her parents drove 3 hours. Stayed overnight in a hotel. Woke up early and showed up ready for her senior portrait session.

She didn't want cornfields. She didn't want what everyone else was getting. And she knew exactly where to go to get something different.

She was the sweetest! ❤️

This is what happens when a senior knows what she wants.

Part 1 of Jayda's senior session took place a couple days ago - and her family brought an entire Kubota track loader to hold her swing over the water. 🙌 No, I'm not kidding.

Add in a crazy windy day, a long flowy dress, and flowers wrapped around the rope, and you've got a session that absolutely delivered. I cannot wait to share the full gallery!

Cassie was my very first underclassman on my Carol's Crew team. She started with me as a freshman at Greeley West, and four years later she didn't just graduate from high school -- she also completed the CNA program at Aims Community College.
Her cap and gown session encompassed both. Two huge milestones.

My graduation gift to every senior I photograph is cap and gown portraits, and getting to do that for Cassie felt like the perfect way to close out four years together.

I watched her hair go from black to blonde to light brown. 😄 I watched her grow into someone who wants to spend her life taking care of others.

Cassie, I am so proud of you. Congratulations. 🎓
