The plan was to stop at the Great Gully Falls Trail and grab some shots of the falls with some beautiful fall foliage as a backdrop. Turns out the falls were more dried up than I thought they would be. I still took to the trail and walked the entirety of it anyways and still had a great time. It was so beautiful and peaceful, and a bit wet and slippery. I still left really happy with the time I spent and what I was able to capture while there.

Make a stop at Great Gully Falls Trail for a walk and see about getting some water-"fall" foliage. A little dried up, but was still a great time. Looking forward to see what I got in camera.

The White-Breasted Nuthatch is so much more than meets the eye.

Did you know? During autumn and winter, they stash seeds and nuts in bark cracks, often disguising them with flakes of bark or lichen to eat later.

I carry by camera gear everywhere I go, never knowing when I'll come across something really cool in my travels. I was lucky to spot this beautiful Red-Tailed Hawk hunting for some prey.

Trying to close some distance for a good shot the bird soared down into some tall grass and seconds later, flew up to the wires with a field mouse in its grasp, unknowingly closing the gap and giving the chance to get these shots.

Nature is so beautiful.

So, I have been thinking of adding to my portfolio by experimenting and trying new photography styles. And in doing so, I'm planning to offer free photo sessions. I want to do some sessions that include local business branding, mental health awareness stuff, and other things. Anyone up for doing some cool stuff like this? No charge and you keep everything we take during the session.
