Rest in peace gram, you're with grandpa now. "In peace, may you leave this shore. In love, may you find the next. Safe passage on your travels, until our final journey to the ground. May we meet again." I love you Grandma, say hi to grandpa for us ❤❤❤ 'tbelieveyouregone

I enjoyed our time in Vermont and although the places I really wanted to see were too far away, that just means I have an excuse to go back next year. From an abandoned pizza hut to the mile and a half abandoned stretch of Interstate 81 and all the amazing shops, we will definitley be going back soon.

Split Rock Quarry in Camillus, NY. Established as a limestone Quarry around 1834 and eventually abandoned around 1912. In 1915 during World War 1, it was the site of a munitions factory which exploded on July 2, 1918. 32 tons of TNT were involved in the blast, leveling all the buildings and killing approximately 50 men. I didn't explore the entire area as its more than 100 acres of land but I will return someday soon and see what else I can find.
