What would you name her?

I’m adopting my second pit mix on Sunday and cannot decide on what to name her! Shes currently named luxe, they call her Lexie sometimes. I was thinking Winnie but no one else seems to like that 😂

I need help

I’m a 40 year old woman and have a husband around the same age (basically we are adults) and we own our home, both have good jobs and I recently lost my soul dog. I stumbled upon a sweet little 8 week old ‘terrier/lab mix’ and adopted him recently. Everything has been fine until I did his dna test. He’s mostly staffy and American pibble. My parents had been fine when they thought he was a lab mix but now are relentlessly badgering me daily to get rid of him. I have no children, I work part time, we have a large yard that we are putting a fence up for him to play off his leash. He gets neutered Thursday and then after recovery I will be taking him to training classes. I’m at the end of my rope right now and don’t know what to do. At first it was just my mom but now she has my dad harassing me as well. I’m just at a loss, I’m doing everything right but because he’s a ‘dangerous dog’ now he’s a problem. He’s literally 12 weeks old and I’ve taught him sit, stay, fetch, etc. Any advice? It’s just so mentally draining day after day.

Saved her from the pound. They said she’s a pit mix but idk what she could be me mixed with. What do y’all think?

My sister called my pitty FUGLY and it hurts more than it should.

We've had Tess for about 4 months. She was a stray, pregnant, not once, but twice at a young age, and severely underfed. We were looking for a local rescue dog that needed a safe and loving home! We got her from the city shelter, and are so in love!

My (f49) sister "L" stopped by last night to drop something off. Tessa was a little jumpy, so my husband held her collar. She still needs some training, but we were waiting for spring, and for her to be fully settled with us first.

While baby talking to Tessa, L called her FUGLY and that she "Has a face only a mother could love." I laughed it off at the time, and boldly defended my girl, but after, I was fuming! It was a slap in the face to all those pitties who find themselves unwanted. Our family grew up with dogs, L has a dog, but I am the only one to ever have a bully breed. I specifically sought one out after our last dog that passed was 75% pit, and Tessa's now-fur brother is 40% even though neither one looked it.

So, what's with the bully/pitty hate?

Here are a few pictures of my baby, who I, of course, find beautiful and cute!

TL/DR - Sister called my rescue baby mean things, and I think it's a systemic bias against pitties in general.
