Fall is one of my favorite times of year for family portraits — beautiful light, changing leaves, cooler evenings, and the perfect excuse to finally update those family photos.

I’m now booking **Fall 2026 family sessions**, and my availability is limited, so if you’re hoping to get on my calendar this season, please reach out as soon as possible.

**MINI SESSION — $299**

**FULL FAMILY SESSION — $599**
• 15 fully edited digital images
• More time and variety for your family
• Great for families who want multiple groupings, poses, and a more relaxed experience

Sessions take place outdoors at beautiful locations throughout the Denver metro and surrounding areas. I have several favorite locations depending on the look you’re going for — fall color, open fields, mountain views, more natural scenery, and more.

As always, I’ll guide you through the entire session so you don’t have to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. My goal is to give you a mix of beautiful portraits and natural moments that actually feel like **your family**.

When should you actually take maternity photos?

For most mamas, I recommend somewhere around 30–36 weeks.

You want that beautiful, unmistakable baby belly, but you also don't want to wait so long that you're uncomfortable—or risk baby deciding to make an early appearance before we ever get your photos.

Every pregnancy is different, though, so your ideal timing may be a little different too.

If you know your due date but have no idea when you should schedule photos, send it to me. I'm always happy to help you figure out what timeframe makes the most sense. 💙

If you're planning maternity photos in Colorado, please don't feel like you need to figure out the location yourself.

Finding somewhere pretty is actually the easy part. Finding somewhere pretty that photographs well at the right time of day, allows professional photography, has the appropriate permit AND isn't going to require you to hike a mile at 34 weeks pregnant is a different story. 😂

I keep a list of locations I know and love throughout Denver, the foothills and mountains. Once I know what kind of scenery you're dreaming about and which gowns you've chosen, I'll give you options that make sense for your session.

You get to pick your favorite.

That's one less thing for you to research while you're busy growing a human. 💙

Pregnancy can be strange because everyone tells you that you're glowing while you may be thinking, “I don't even recognize my body right now.”

And that's one of the reasons I love maternity photography so much.

You don't need to walk into your session already feeling like a goddess.

We'll find the gown that makes you feel beautiful. I'll choose light that flatters you. I'll guide your posing. I'll pay attention to the little details.

And my goal is that when you finally see your portraits, you get to see what everyone else has been seeing all along—the incredible woman growing an entire human being.

That deserves to be celebrated. 💙

Before you spend $200+ on a dress you're probably going to wear once for maternity photos... don't. 😂

One of my favorite parts of what I offer is my maternity gown collection. I have more than 70 gowns in different colors, fabrics and styles—from fitted knits and lace to sequins, satin and huge dramatic tossing trains.

And they're included with your session.

Even better, we'll have an in-home fitting before your session so you can actually try things on and figure out what makes you feel beautiful instead of crossing your fingers that something you ordered online works.

Honestly, the fitting is half the fun. We basically get to play dress-up and plan your dream photos. 💙

Okay expecting mamas, I'm curious...

If you could create your DREAM maternity photos and didn't have to worry about whether it was practical, what would they look like?

Mountains? Wildflowers? Snow?

A huge dramatic gown blowing in the wind?

Something soft and romantic?

A fairytale scene that doesn't even completely exist in real life?

This is actually one of my favorite parts of maternity photography. I don't want every mama's session to look exactly the same. I want to know what YOU would hang on your wall.

One of the things I hear from expecting moms all the time is, “I’m just not photogenic.”

Here’s the thing—you don't need to be.

You don't need to know your angles. You don't need to know what to do with your hands. And you definitely don't need to practice poses before your maternity session.

That's my job.

After 18 years of photographing pregnant women, I know how to pose your body to highlight your belly and your curves, while also paying attention to all those tiny details that make a huge difference in the final portrait.

You just need to show up and let me guide you.

And yes, I promise I'll tell you what to do with your hands. 💙
