Just wanted to hop on here and say THANK YOU.
Simply, thank you. 🤍
It has been a HIGHLY booked and busy couple of weeks. Monday has been my only day this week without a photoshoot. Between sessions, consults, meetings, events, messages and bookings, I’ve found myself feeling completely overwhelmed with gratitude.
And honestly, I just want to take a minute to recognize the people behind all of it.
Because none of this is possible without YOU.
Every client who has trusted me to capture something important to them.
Every family who has invited me into their lives.
Every senior who has let me capture who they are.
Every small business and organization that has trusted me with their story.
Every nonprofit who has allowed me to be part of the work you’re doing in our community.
Every person who has shared my work, liked a post, recommended me to a friend, tagged my business, stopped at my booth, said hello at an event, or simply told someone about what I do.
And my AMAZING photographer friends who cheer me on, share ideas, answer questions, encourage me, collaborate with me and remind me that this industry doesn’t have to be competitive. There is room for all of us to grow, create and succeed. 📸🤍
YOU are the reason I get to keep doing this.
And I don’t ever want to lose sight of that.
I’ve made mistakes. I’ve faced trials, setbacks and health issues. There have been times in my life when I didn’t know what the next day was going to look like, and there have been days when simply showing up felt like the hardest thing in the world.
But somehow, I kept going.
And then I found this community.
A community that has continued to show up for me while I’ve tried to show up for it.
Photography has always been a part of me. From elementary school, to 4-H and disposable cameras, to carrying a camera around in high school, to doing sessions just for fun throughout the years… I always found my way back to it.
But the difference now is that I’m not just taking pictures.
I’m building something WITH people.
I get to work with incredible clients. I get to support local businesses. I get to work alongside nonprofits doing meaningful things. I get to participate in community events. I get to meet people with dreams, stories, talents and passions of their own.
And every single one of those connections has played a part in getting me here.
The doors that are opening for me right now are not doors I opened by myself.
They were opened by every person who believed in me enough to book me.
Every person who shared my name.
Every person who encouraged me.
Every organization that gave me an opportunity.
Every client who trusted me.
Every photographer friend who refuels my creativity and bounces ideas off each other.
Every friend who hyped me up.
Every stranger who stopped by my booth.
Every person in this community who continues to support local.
So when you see my business growing or ANY business growing, please know that you are looking at something this COMMUNITY has helped build.
None of this is possible without every single one of YOU.
Thank you for trusting me with your memories.
Thank you for trusting me with your stories.
Thank you for trusting me with your businesses and organizations.
Thank you for supporting my dream.
And most importantly, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of yours.
If you’re someone who is struggling, lacking confidence, or wondering if you should go after the thing you love, I hope my journey reminds you that it is possible.
Keep showing up.
Keep growing.
Keep connecting.
And surround yourself with people who believe in you.
Because sometimes your dream doesn’t become reality because you did it all alone.
Sometimes it becomes reality because you found a community willing to build it with you.
And I am SO grateful I found mine. 🤍📸
THANK YOU, Antigo and beyond. Truly.
Next chapter is about to begin, thank you GOD who lights the way. 📸🥹🙏
