Epperly Photographic Images EPI Epi© Nature Photography Ever since I was 8 years old, I had an interest in photography. My first camera way back then was a 126 Kodak Instamatic.

Then soon after I received a 110 pocket camera for Christmas one year. It wasn't until Junior High School that I started using 35mm. That's when I was definitely hooked. I pursued photography in High School and College, but not until recently have I rediscovered my love for it. This page is just a place I can post my photos, and if you like them, then great. If not, oh well, still great. At least

they have someplace to be seen. I ask you to respect them as my work and copyrights do exist. If you want to share with others via Facebook, then that's great. Just don't use any of my photographs for monetary gain or as "your" property. If you would like an enlargement of one or more of my photos, then we can work out a price and I will provide the best resolution possible. Thanks for looking and reading this long winded message. Take care and take pictures of everything. Life is short and photos help preserve our memories.

Looking at older photos from years ago, I found this one that I never posted. I took it while driving across the Mackinaw bridge with Mackinaw Island in the distance. I miss my trips up north. I went to northern Mid-Michigan last year twice, but it's been a few years since I crossed the bridge. See less

Some pictures of birds from about a week ago. I included a picture of a Bald Eagle, but it was too far out of range to get a good shot. It was still nice to see one this time of year. This first picture is a Northern Flicker. The second picture is of a Baltimore Oriole by it's nest. The third picture is of the American Gold Finch, and then A White Egret in Flight. Last is the distant Bald Eagle.

Some pictures taken last week. I did see two Orioles chase each other, but they were too fast and high up in the trees. I was able to get pictures of a Gray Catbird, a Brown-Headed Cowbird, and a Blue Jay.

This Red-Tailed Hawk was flying overhead having a great time. The sun was a little too bright and I lost some detail, but still nice to see it fly by.

A few more from yesterday. The sky was blue and the weather was a little chilly, but no rain. The birds were out flying everywhere. I saw Bald Eagles, Cormorants, Vultures, Ospreys, Ducks, Hawks, Gulls, Egrets, Robins, and geese. I guess if I was a bird, I would be out enjoying the sun too.

I was able to get out for a little nature walk yesterday. It was much needed and a great stress reliever. This picture is of a large Turkey Vulture. It was flying overhead and I was able to get shots of it directly above me. The sun on its wings makes this bird really shine.
