As a general rule of thumb, consider updating your headshot every two to three years or after any major life changes. This keeps your personal brand fresh and relevant, which is crucial in the fast-paced professional landscape.

I regularly do professional portraits for employees in companies who get promoted, have a service anniversary or who’s retiring.

Doing some family sessions lately, amongst others.. And enjoying them so much, since I have a growing sense of how important pictures of loved ones together are (I’m clearly missing my own far away-family a lot again!).

We always say “we need to do family pictures with the kids this year / before the kids are not so small and cute anymore / before they’re too big / before they’re done with highschool / before they’re done with college / when we’re all together again / before grandparents are not around anymore”…. yet so many of us do not get it done (including myself..), thereby missing precious opportunities forever.
And then one day the child is not small and cute anymore, are done with highschool, with college, maybe moves away. The grandparents don’t travel so easily anymore, or pass on.. Life happens and all family members aren’t together anymore.. and you can never get those portraits again..

We don’t have to live with (all) these regrets. We just need to get the family portraits done!!
