There is something special about photographing another photographer. They get the vision, the nerves, the excitement, and that the little details matter. They also get when you put your camera down in the middle of having bright idea and then can’t remember where you put it down. 🤣

Ashleigh’s branding session was all about capturing her style and her personality to rebuild her photography brand. From candid moments to those perfectly posed shots, we created images that captured the vibe and energy she gives to her clients.

I know photographers are usually the ones behind the camera, but remember…stepping in front of the camera is part of owning your brand and your voice.

The Wildcats Competition Cheer teams are just one of the groups I have the privilege of photographing each season. This year we did “pick your own pose.” Love that each cheerleader picked a pose that suited their personality!

How did they pick their pose you ask? I had some examples printed they could choose from or they could make up their own. This year I will be making my own banner with pose examples modeled by some of these fabulous cheerleaders.

I’m always up for adding new groups and sports teams to my photography schedule. Daycares, marching band, color guard, soccer, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, dancers, and integrated sports are just a few I’ve done in the past!

Quite often Scott is helping me load photography gear, wrangle littles for sports pictures, and trying not to distract me while I’m editing. Getting in front of my camera is probably the better part of the photographer’s hubby gig.

Scott has a passion for music (an understatement) and is a self-taught bassist. After updating his professional headshots for his day job, we decided it was about time for some pics with his fave bass. He wanted some great images that reflected his style and vibe. If you know him, you know we did just that!

Yesterday the birds were singing, bringing the promise of spring into Maine. Today, it is snowing again!!! Instead of letting it get you down, try embracing the beautiful of Maine winter. You can snowshoe, you can ski, or you can book a photoshoot with a friend. The last one would be my recommendation. 🙃

Lyla & Lauren embraced the snow and cold for a fun winter friends photoshoot. Their sweet friendship is so fun to capture. Their laughter is music to my ears!

Living in Maine means outdoor winter sports are a big part of life. Snow shoeing is my favorite winter sport…no downhill ⛷️ sports for this injury prone photographer!

Happy Birthday, Lil!!! Her birthday studio session this year was so fun to design, pose, and shoot. Lil’s sad birthday clown tattoo (see last pic) by .tattoo was our inspiration.

Who says we have to stop celebrating ourselves our birthdays in a big way??? Definitely not me! I would love to do more collaborative creative birthday sessions…adults and kiddos alike.
