There’s something really special about that moment he hands you over to your groom.

He’s raised you up with confidence and strength. Tucked you in with bedtime stories. Spent countless summer nights in the back yard blowing bubbles, playing sports, running through the sprinkler. Cheered you on from the sidelines at every sport. Celebrated you at every graduation.

He’s watched you grow from the sweetest little baby in his arms to a beautiful woman starting her new life.

This moment means so much more than a photograph could express. What a precious second to capture, your dad leaned in to kiss you one last time before it all begins.

Capturing the unconditional love of a mother and her babies is something I will be doing til my hands can't hold the camera.

The reason I picked it up in the first place, because of how dear my babies are to me.

Things are finally looking up, and I am back on track my friends! Even if it is after 2 am, nothing Tea2Go and a midnight snack couldn't help with. 😅

My family has needed my attention and care more than I could have planned for these past few weeks with illness and life adjustments, Logan's end of school festivities and pre K graduation, and being present for our friends.

I set my camera down in December because if I'm honest, it was just too much.

I thought I had my systems in place good enough to manage after Ellis joined our family in the spring. This business afforded me a full maternity leave even if I didn't have the days off saved up at work, and that time was just so much easier to juggle editing during nap time or after bed time. But then I started back at work, and despite thinning my schedule and pacing work and photos, fall inevitably came and you guys never cease to amaze me with your kindness booking me to the brim all fall long.

My time "away" in the spring was so helpful, but also if I'm honest it went by so quick. Life seems to do that these days.

Since my return in April, I've photographed seniors, families, couples, new babies, weddings, entrepreneurs, and more.

I've reflected on the value of my ability to use my camera and this precious opportunity to capture each of you as I looked on at photos printed so beautifully, showing the joy of a dad and husband, as we celebrated the life of our friend Brett.

While I know I'm not the quickest "turnaround" in town, trust me when I say I value your time, I value your investment, and I value the opportunity to connect with and capture each of you. I do not take this gift for granted.

Photos and videos hold tight a moment in time and I want you to feel that when you look at your gallery.

You have helped us raise over $2000 in less than 24 hours of launching this raffle and we are amazed at your generosity and support for the Patterson & Underwood families!

Amazing husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, friends...the legacy of love they leave behind and the number of people they've impacted in their lives is incredible. It's inspiring. & we promise to keep reminding these 5 kiddos of how much they were loved by their dads every chance we get.
