I truly can’t believe how fast time is flying lately!

Just the other day I was photographing this sweet little sugar and she was only 4 months old and now she’s about to celebrate her second birthday!

& somehow when the clock strikes midnight it’ll be September and the busiest time of the year has arrived 🥳

Life gets so busy, fall fills with family events, festivals, holidays, school programs, sports, and more and somehow we all survive it each year!

I can’t wait to see so many of you again this year and I am truly looking forward to sharing some exciting news involving this sweet little dream of mine. ☺️

With each session, I take into account so many emotions and details before sending off your final gallery. Being a mom myself, I know how special having each season of life documented can be. I feel honored coming into these glimpses of your life and helping you hold them tight always. Because as I'm organizing school supplies and getting a backpack ready for my little guy today, it's the biggest realization that babies don't keep and I will never regret the thousands of photos that I have to hold onto each season.

My inbox is beginning to fill with fall session requests and I promise I will be getting back to everyone as timely as possible and so appreciate your patience along the way.

I am wrapping up so many open galleries right now from a summer that I once thought might be slow due to my break in the winter/spring months that has exploded in ways I couldn't have imagined.

I have no availability the remainder of August and will slowly start plugging in more sessions in the fall but I'm telling you guys I have over 45 sessions, a handful of branding collabs with Brookey Design Co, and I'll be the gal with a camera at the Grace Gala this year. September through November will be my "fall season" with no availability in December, and remaining availability will be tight to ensure I can complete galleries in a timely manner.

You all are truly a gift to me and I'm grateful for everyone here following along!

My top 5 tips when planning your baby's first birthday milestone session!

1. Splurge on the cute little outfit! The one you've had your eye on for weeks. It's popped up and you just can't get over how perfect it is. GET IT. If it means you don't eat out or skip the morning coffee run, find the way. You'll never regret it!

2. Get the smash cake. For real, nothing better than their sweet little smushy hands looking so cute covered in icing!

3. Bring something special. The blanket, the stuffed animal, the heirloom item that means so much to you. BRING IT!

4. Plan around their naps... Hear me, if you plan a session right at the time your kiddo normally sleeps you already know how that session is going to go!

5. This is the MOST important. PLAN to be IN the pictures WITH your baby. You won't regret it!!!!! This is truly the most important thing. You can't get this time back and you're a silly goose (coming from a mom of 2 kiddos herself) if you think you won't want to look back at yourself in the pictures WITH your baby!

As summer comes to an end, I'm excited to see what this fall and Christmas season hold and I can't wait to see so many of you back again this year and capture your precious growing babies!!!
