WESLEY AT NIGHT FESTIVAL (Part 2 of 2).
I had the opportunity to volunteer as photographer for 2 nights at Wesley Church’s Night Festival. Wesley Methodist Church (Singapore) is located at Fort Canning. This album contains a summary of photos taken on 30 Aug and 7 Sept.

LIGHT ON THE HILL: A JOURNEY OF TRANQUILITY & PLAY.
Take a step back in time with and bask in the old-school and retro vibes of Singapore. Be amused by the old school games, nostalgia snack and beverage, storytelling, origami making, some fun augmented reality on social media and nostalgic photo opportunities with props and talents in costumes. Watch the choir perform in the century-old sanctuary or simply pause, reflect and embrace a moment of tranquillity amid the festivity with the organist playing the background.

SINGAPORE NIGHT FESTIVAL.
The Singapore Night Festival is Singapore’s largest nocturnal experience. It has been running for 15 years around the Bras Basah and Bugis area (Bras Basah.Bugis). This year’s festival is themed the Art of Play.

3 June 2023:
THE BOONAH SHOW, this show brought to life the 1995 comedy-drama film "Babe". My kids watched this movie growing up. I think I saw it like 8 times.

This was my very first time to a country show. Located an hour away from Brisbane. It was a pure good old fashioned country experience.

The show featured a diverse array of interests:
• Cookery, Textiles, Craft, Fruit, Vegetables, Agriculture, Horticulture.
• Judging of Horses, Cattle, Dogs, Goats, Poultry.
• Equestrian (horse riding) Events, Farm Pig Races, Sheep Dog.
• Circus Show, Freestyle Bike Show, Chain Saw Races, Woodchopping Races, Aussie FMX Freestyle Bike Show, the Cavalcade of Transport featuring all the vintage tractors, cars, trucks and machinery.
• The kids get their thrills on the carnival rides and sideshow alley attractions.

There was so much to see and a large area to cover. Sadly we could not stay till the end. The important thing was being a part of this event by capturing moments.
