This shot is special. Not staged but stolen. The brides dad spontaneously stuck his head in and told the bride, “give daddy a kiss before going”

I wasn’t ready for the shot but I knew I had to snap it now! Every photographer’s nightmare is sunlight right against a shadow area… but I was glad I pressed the shutter.

It’s been a while hasn’t it.

Photography has always been about moments, and I feel compelled to share this moment with everyone.

Technically speaking, this shot probably won’t win any awards. But the essence of the moment has won me over.

Throughout the ceremony today, the groom kept looking over to the bride, and he is one of the few who recited his wedding vows to a person rather than to a piece of paper or a phone;)

Having covered hundreds of weddings, I kinda recognize this look… He is saying “I am so blessed to have you by my side, and I will never let go of this hand”.
