Shooting a wedding entirely on film for the first time brought back a feeling we hadn’t experienced in a long while — genuine nervousness.

Every frame felt precious. With each click of the shutter came a hundred little doubts:
Was the focus spot on? Did the composition work? Was the exposure where it needed to be?

For days, all we could do was wait.

And then the scans arrived.

In an instant, every worry melted away.

There’s a unique kind of joy that comes with film photography. Unlike the immediacy of digital, film asks you to trust the process, embrace the unknown, and wait patiently. That wait makes the reward feel so much sweeter.

When the images finally appear, it feels less like reviewing photographs and more like rediscovering memories.

And perhaps that’s what keeps drawing us back to film — the anticipation, the surprise, and the reminder that some things are worth waiting for. 🎞️🤍
