This place is becoming a regular spot on my photography workshops for learning architectural and landscape photography. Maybe I should add on other spots in Jewel or CBD area. Any suggestions?

Give away time?

Shoutout to COOPH for sponsoring their wonderful photography swag! I'm honestly impressed with the quality and feel of their products, especially the beanie!

I'll be planning to give some of these away, some with SPC and some on my YouTube channel or other channels. More details to come in the future!

Can you believe this awesome photo spot is in Singapore?

So thankful that we have beautiful spaces like these where we can unwind after a stressful day.

Sunrise photography in Singapore.

Taken in May 2026. Between photo and video production, workshops and content creation, mornings like these have become a luxury. Hoping to shoot more sunrises and sunsets while maintaining and being grateful for the clientele I have now.

The best photos start before sunrise.

4am wasn’t for the sunrise. It was to catch the coconut boats before the crowds arrived.

As the first light broke over Da Nang Beach, the boats drifted across calm waters, the soft morning light bringing out every texture and colour. Within an hour, the quiet scene was gone.

Some shots simply can’t be recreated later in the day. Sometimes, the difference between an ordinary photo and a memorable one is just being willing to wake up earlier than everyone else.

Would you make the 4am wake-up call for a shot like this?

Here’s our client’s thoughtful appreciation of the work we’ve produced over the years!

5 Street Photography Tips for Hoi An 🇻🇳

1. Wake up early. The streets are quieter, the light is softer, and locals are just starting their day.
2. Look for conical hats. The iconic nón lá instantly adds a sense of place to your photos. Position yourself where the light catches the hat, and wait for someone to walk into your frame.
3. Wait for the moment. Instead of chasing people, find a strong background and let the right subject walk into your composition.
4. Look beyond the lanterns. Everyone photographs them. Turn around and capture everyday life—the cyclists, market vendors, and quiet alleyways.
5. Stay out after sunset. When the lanterns light up and reflections appear on the river, Hoi An takes on a completely different atmosphere.

The best street photos aren’t always about famous landmarks—they’re about capturing the people and moments that make a place feel alive.

Just completed one of our more fulfilling projects for 2026.

- Team of 8 photographers and videographers
- 2 Studio setups
- Catered 200 pax tiered platform for large group photo
- 5 days of non-stop shoots
- 4 highlight reels, which our client named "F$%king awesome!" in their own words.

Huge thanks to my team of fantastic photographers and videographers for the support. Looking forward to more projects to come!

Best settings for your Nikon camera:

Nikon Z8 with Z 14-30mm F4 S, Leofoto LS324C Pro, Nisi filters

ISO64, 14mm f10, 1/6s (settings changed after taking the video)

- Turn on RAW recording to Lossless Compression
- VR off while on tripod
- Exposure Delay 2 secs, especially because the tripod is on sand
- iso64 on Z8 for maximum dynamic range

Amazed at how the locals get up at 4AM and flood the beaches to walk and exercise.
