Starting off Q1 the best way we know how — good food 😋, ordering every single appetizer on the menu along with a few coffees ☕️ over dinner (yes you read that right, coffee), lots of laughs 🤣, and full hearts 💜

A decade of growing together, celebrating wins big and small, and spending way too much time talking about the ins and outs of how we think we should be taking the best shots on wedding day! 📸🎥

So grateful for the journey so far, and for every couple who has trusted us with their wedding day memories 🕊️💍✨ We’re so excited for an amazing 2026 with all of you, and making more magic together! 💫

Missing all our time together galavanting through the streets of San Francisco — the laughter, chats, showing us all your favorite places to eat (and putting down some seriously fantastic Mexican food 🌮🌯), cleaning your car to get it photo ready, and the endless friendship and love. ❤️ Thanks for all the memories, Bay days are always better with you two! 🌉

5 days, heaps of 5am start times, and a whole lot of epic! 🚀 Our prewedding adventure with the unstoppable and .thoughts took us from the rugged peaks of Padar Island 🏝️ to the magic of Bali 🌴 for an unforgettable ride!

Some super memorable highlights:

1. After a steep (but fun!) hike up and shoot at the top of Padar Island 🌄, they jumped straight off the side of the boat into the ocean to cool off, because anything for another fun shot! Followed by an outdoor grilled fish dinner at Labuan Bajo fish market where we devoured 5 whole fish 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟 while geeking out over our just-shot photos 🤩📸

2. Chasing the perfectest light at Blangsinga Waterfall 💦 and taking photos in the spray while witnessing a surprise proposal 💍, all while a professional bodybuilder flexed in the background 💪 and Patrick joined in the fun with some curls at the base of the falls. Why is there an outdoor gym at the bottom of the waterfall, we couldn’t exactly tell you, but there is!

3. Running into the surf 🌊 in full formalwear as the sky lit up in blazing sunset colors 🔥🎨 at Mengening Beach, and of course, watching Patrick jump off this boulder in the middle of the beach, also because anything for another fun shot!

We had such an incredible time with these two we just had to see them again in NorCal a few months later for round two 🎬💥 watch out for that coming up soon!

That’s right, one more shoot 📸 with Hailen and Ye, and this time, for their post-wedding amidst the incredible backdrops of and ! We were so blessed with a breathtaking sunset 🌅 and couldn’t believe how beautiful both places were with their incredible architecture and lush greenery!

Shooting with them was such a joy, and we totally miss their fun-loving personalities, constant laughs, and how they were always ready for more photos!

Two of our favorite memories from their journey:

1. Surprising them with a next day edit of their wedding montage (yes, we pulled an all-nighter the day after shooting their wedding til super late but it was oh so worth it to see their expressions 😇) and watching them smile, tear up, and relive their favorite moments 🥰 while watching it on the stairs of Montalvo. 🥹
2. Wrapping up our journey over an absolutely delicious dinner at Sundance The Steakhouse in Palo Alto where they regaled us with countless stories of their adventurous life together - thanks so much for the treat, you two!!!! 😋

So grateful to have been a part of this beautiful wedding journey with them, from Singapore to Northern California. It’s one we’ll remember forever, and never forget. 💖

One of our favorite frames from Hailen and Ye’s incredible wedding day at — yeah, that’s right, the cover photo of this post! 💫

We had just wrapped up their portrait session, hearts still full from their vows (which made us laugh, cry, and feel all warm and fuzzy inside), and even squeezed in a quick ice cream break courtesy of . The sun was dipping behind the towering redwoods, and everything was going so perfectly, we were just so amazed at everything we’d already been able to capture.

Then came a super fun bridal party entrance, with all the wedding guests standing up and waving napkins with crazy energy, and our couple finally settling down to enjoy their wedding dinner!

But then, we turned around and saw one of those this-is-why-you-live-in-California sunsets happening. 🌅 The kind that turns the sky into a painting, the kind that transforms chill photographers and videographers into caffeinated squirrels. 🐿️

We had a heated debate amongst ourselves, knowing full well wedding photographer etiquette dictates we shouldn’t do this thing: “Should we really ask them to head out AGAIN? They, literally, just, sat down for dinner…”

But: After watching the sky turn to full-on fire 🔥 , we decided: Yes. Yes, we absolutely should. 🤷‍♂️

So I walked over and said, “Look… we know you just sat down. But we’re about to risk our friendship with you to ask for one more shot. It’s SO worth it. Regret, you shall not have, dear padawans.”

They exchanged one of those “we knew this would happen, they are always occupational hazards” glances, and back out we went — to the same spot they had said their vows.

And that’s when we caught this frame: silhouetted against a glowing sky, wrapped in the warmth of the day’s final light, the perfect ending to a perfect day. ❤️

A few months later, they had us send them a giant A1 canvas printed at our photo labs, of this photo, from Singapore all the way to California, to hang on their living room wall. 😇💕

It was such a joy getting to know Shaun during his older brother Nycky’s prewedding shoot and wedding day! 📸💍 And now, coming full circle to have the privilege of capturing Shaun and Hansa’s prewedding and wedding was truly special - there’s nothing quite like being part of the wedding journeys of two brothers and getting to know their family so well too! 💕 We had the best time at JW Marriott, one of our absolute favorite spots in Singapore that’s all kinds of futuristic, grand, and classy! ✨

Not to mention, the chemistry between Shaun and Hansa was filled with such positive energy 💖, making documenting their wedding journey an absolute pleasure!

We had an absolute blast with our full team shooting both photo and video 📸🎥 for these two amazing ENT doctors, Alex and Margaret, on their wedding day - not long after capturing their pre-wedding in Bali, where we spent an epic week exploring some sweet epic landscapes together! 🌴🌅 It was amazing seeing them surrounded by family and friends, and we loved how their families and bridal party were so into taking photos! 📷💃 We had a ton of fun capturing moments around Fullerton Hotel and along the Singapore River with them in the morning! 🌆💫 And hearing Alex and Margaret’s ENT doctor stories throughout the day was such a treat! 🧑‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ They were a total pleasure to shoot with, making every moment feel like pure magic! 🎉

It was an amazing experience documenting Hailen and Ye’s wedding journey, from their prewedding shoot in Singapore all the way to the most magical day of their lives over at The Mountain Terrace in California! So many favorite moments, but here’s some we really enjoyed (and there were so many more that we just can’t fit in here!) 😇:

1. We loved how they brought over ice cream truck (yes, Hailen did propose to Ye with Jolly’s help, over an ice cream 🍨 date!) over to the wedding venue, which made for an absolutely fantastic wedding reception treat! We’re not gonna lie, we may have enjoyed ourselves a scoop (or two or three) of that delicious Earl Grey ice cream!
2. Watching the sunset through the surrounding majestic redwoods and whisking away Hailen and Ye in the middle of their dinner for one of their favorite shots from the entire wedding, with the two of them silhouetted against the golden glow of a sunset afterburn!
3. Benny’s creativity shining through when he launched his drone mid-dinner for an aerial view of the entire wedding party!
4. Their wild afterparty where .tn got everybody dancing around the dance floor til the lights went off!
5. And of course, the incredible energy of their entire wedding party—full of love and positive vibes from start to finish.

Grateful for these two, and glad to have worked alongside .events who crafted this stunning wedding masterpiece. Thank you so much for having us, Hailen and Ye! We’ll be sure to stop by next time we’re in NorCal! ❤️✨
