📍 Hanging Gardens of Bali — the most iconic pool in Bali, suspended above the Ayung River. If you have seen it on Pinterest, it is even more beautiful in person.

📍 Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape — my personal favourite stay, ever! No walls, no doors. Completely open to the jungle. Unlike anything else I have experienced.

📍 JANJISURGA BALI — adults only, hidden, intimate and genuinely unhurried. One of Bali’s best kept secrets.

Some places don’t just live up to the hype, they feel like a dream you’ve somehow stepped into 💙🌴

One Foot Island in Aitutaki’s breathtaking lagoon, is one of those places. Powder-soft white sand, crystal-clear water and a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words.

We spent the day drifting in the lagoon, walking barefoot along the sandbank and simply slowing down.
Moments like these remind me why I’ll always choose islands. ✨

Exploring Bora Bora’s incredible lagoon with was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Crystal-clear water, vibrant marine life and unforgettable views of Mount Otemanu, this is the side of Bora Bora you simply can’t experience from land.

Going to Moorea? Read this first 🤩

French Polynesia has been on our bucket list for years. And Moorea exceeded every single expectation.

Here is everything we experienced and everything I would tell you to do before you visit.Best time to visit — September
Perfect weather, humpback whale season and fewer crowds after the busy July and August period. We visited in July and loved it — but September is the sweet spot.

Where to stay — Hilton Moorea
Overwater bungalows directly on the lagoon with the most extraordinary mountain backdrop. Stay minimum 5–6 nights. Moorea is not a quick stop — it rewards slow travel completely.

Snorkelling & Lunch Tour — Moorea Miti Tours
Non negotiable if you visit. We swam with blacktip reef sharks and rays in the open lagoon. Lunch served on a motu in the middle of the water. One of the most extraordinary experiences of our entire trip.

Wildlife Expedition — Moorea Moana Tours
Dolphins, sea turtles and humpback whales in the open ocean. Book this. You will not regret it.

Rent a car
The single best piece of advice I can give you for Moorea. Drive the entire island for at least one day. Every bend in the road reveals a view more beautiful than the last.

Go hiking
Belvedere Viewpoint and Plateau du Bounty hiking route — Moorea’s most spectacular lookout points. The hike is worth every single step.

Visit the beaches
Three public beaches not to miss — Plage de Ta’hiamanu, Plage de Temae and Plage des Tipaniers for the most beautiful sunset you will ever see.

Visit the places you have been dreaming of. Life is genuinely too short not to 💙
