Last weekend, I took this 1996 Canon first digital camera and tried if it’s possible to get any usable footage from it. While many cameras from this time require a period correct computer, dedicated cables and software to download the photos, Canon made this Powershot 600 really future-proof. With only a few adapters I was able to post the photos live from the event.

At some point, I thought that this might be the first situation ever when I regretted going to an event. After a few hours, of waiting for the sun to come and allow the event to start, I just wanted to go home. But finally, conditions improved and in the afternoon became very nice. In the end, the trip to Tierp Arena for the SpeedEvents Finals turned out to be a good idea.

Let’s have a look at a few more photos from the recent Stalowy Rajd. As I was chasing the cars along the course, i mostly photographed the crews from the bottom of the starting list. But there is nothing to complain about as many interesting vehicles were competing at the end of the pack.

What was I doing last week? Trying to chase rally cars on the course of Stalowy Rajd. I joined it during the exhibition on the square in Sandomierz and chased the crews along the last stage of the event. It was very challenging to spontaneously find some nice places to capture the cars, but I managed to get a few nice pictures. I hope you’ll like them.

Dragsters in Europe? No way! That's what I thought a few years ago. I had no idea this community even existed, so I couldn’t have known just how alive and diverse it is. Photographing dragsters is a challenge, but a very enjoyable one. One, that I recently had during the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals event at Tierp Arena.
