My passion for photography and traveling has taken me to so many incredible places over the last few years. Sometimes I still can’t believe I’ve actually seen all of this with my own eyes 🤯🏔️.

For me, photography has always been more than just coming home with a great image. Sometimes it’s simply the perfect excuse to get outdoors, explore new places, and spend more time surrounded by nature.

But of course… coming home with a few photos I’m proud of is a pretty nice bonus 📸😃.

Looking back at these images makes me incredibly grateful for all the places photography has taken me so far — and even more excited for the adventures still to come.

Here’s to exploring many more epic places in the years ahead! 🙌

This might be Sweden’s wildest coastline 🌊.

Welcome to Kullaberg — a place where steep cliffs plunge into the sea, rugged rock formations meet dense forests, and narrow trails lead to incredible views over the Kattegat Sea.

Located on the Kullen peninsula in southern Sweden, this nature reserve feels surprisingly wild for a place so far south. Instead of the calm lakes and endless forests we often associate with Sweden, you’ll find dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, caves, and a coastline constantly shaped by wind and waves.

For me, it’s also a dream to explore with a camera. 📸 The combination of sea, rocks, forests, and changing light offers endless opportunities for landscape photography — especially around sunrise and sunset 🌅.

Another one of my favorite places in Småland is Store Mosse National Park 🏞️.

With its vast open marshlands, endless boardwalks, and quiet forests, it’s an incredible place for photography 📸🌿

But my favorite time to visit is early autumn 🍂.

As the nights get colder, the chances of waking up to foggy mornings increase - and that’s when Store Mosse really comes alive. Watching the mist slowly drift across the wetlands while the first light breaks through creates such a mystical atmosphere 🧙‍♂️.

It’s one of those places where you don’t necessarily need dramatic mountains or waterfalls. Sometimes, simplicity, silence, and a little bit of fog are all you need.

Another island that I find very photogenic is Arholma, considered as the northernmost in Stockholm’s Archipelago 🏝️⛵️🗺️.

We spent a weekend there last summer and really enjoyed strolling around in the quiet village, exploring the northern part of the island with its iconic lighthouse, and of course the seaviews 🤩.

At the southern tip of Stockholm’s archipelago lies one of my favorite places to explore with a camera: Landsort.

This small island has everything I love about the archipelago. Dramatic cliffs where the Baltic Sea meets the shoreline, mystical ash forests shaped by the wind, a charming little village with colorful wooden houses, and Sweden’s oldest lighthouse, standing watch over the sea for centuries.

No matter how many times I visit, Landsort always feels a little different. Sometimes it’s wrapped in morning mist, sometimes illuminated by a golden sunset, and on stormy days, the crashing waves create a completely different mood. That’s what keeps drawing me back.

If you’re looking for a place that combines rugged nature, history, and endless photography opportunities, Landsort deserves a spot on your bucket list.

In a city full of historic streets and waterfront views, Djurgården feels like a world of its own 🌿.

Just a short walk from the city center, you’ll find ancient oak trees, quiet forest trails, open meadows, and some of Stockholm’s most beautiful natural light ☀️. Home to some of the oldest oak trees in Sweden, it’s a place where nature has had centuries to tell its story 🌳.

No matter the season, I always enjoy coming here with my camera. In spring, fresh green leaves transform the landscape. Summer brings warm evenings beneath the mighty oaks, autumn paints the forest in golden colors, and winter adds a peaceful silence to the trails.

For me, Djurgården is proof that you don’t have to leave the city to experience nature at its best. It’s easily one of my favorite places in Stockholm - and a dream for every nature photographer 📸.

For me, Abisko in the very north of Sweden is one of those places that fascinates me over and over again…

Every time I return, I’m reminded why it’s one of my favourite places to photograph in Sweden.

In September, the Arctic landscapes transform into a gorgeous palette of autumn colors ❤️🧡💛. Crystal-clear rivers carve their way through canyons, waterfalls rush down from the mountains, and as darkness returns after summer, the first Northern Lights begin to dance across the sky 🎆.

But what makes Abisko truly special isn’t just its natural beauty.

It’s the feeling of standing in complete silence, surrounded by vast wilderness, with nothing but the sound of flowing water and the crisp Arctic air around you 🧘‍♂️.

It’s a place that encourages you to slow down, look closer and simply enjoy being in nature 🌿.

This September, I’ll return to Abisko with a small group of photographers during my 6-Day Autumn Photography Tour to Swedish Lapland. Together, we’ll explore this incredible national park, visit the Sámi Museum and the iconic ICEHOTEL Sweden, improve our photography, and hopefully witness the first Northern Lights of the season.
