After 7 months working in France, more specifically in Paris, I have never seen so much MB2 canals. The problem is that most of them are independent. A great challenge but in the end, a huge satisfaction. Enjoy 💙🇫🇷

THINGS DON'T ALWAYS GO THE WAY WE WANT, BUT THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THEM.

A young 18-year-old patient presented symptoms of reversible pulpitis, slight discomfort when drinking cold drinks (but nothing very significant) and a large cavity lesion. Vital pulp therapy was carried out in the first instance, however 2 months later the patient reported a clear change in the pulp diagnosis with spontaneous pain and reported great discomfort when heat was applied. Endodontic treatment was performed and ... so far so good 🤞

Whenever I find the ideal conditions to maintain pulp vital and in the case of a young patient, vital pulp therapy is indicated. Fortunately, I have had a fairly high success rate with this type of approach, however, this was not the case 😢 Let's wait for better days

C-shaped canals are commonly seen in mandibular second molars and the early recognition of these configurations facilitates cleaning, shaping and obturation of the root canal system.

📕Lit review: The prevalence of C-shaped anatomy varied from region to region. In Portugal, C-shaped root canal configuration was found in 8.3 of 2nd lower molar, according to Von Zuben et al. (JOE 2017). China presented the highest prevalence (44.0%), whereas the lowest was observed in Brazil (6.8%).

A five-canal maxillary first molar. Single session retreatment with Reciproc

Don’t stress with Endo !!!
🦷 1st lower molar previously treated with a separated instrument on mesial root. File removed with ultrasonic tip (ET25 .group ) and treatment finished in one single session.

ℹ️ You can see the entire step-by-step that I use in this type of procedure and the high success rate (+- 90%) in removing separated instruments when there is a combination between microscope and ultrasonic tips.

🤔 I'm curious to know how you deal with referrals who only refer mishaps? I would like to hear your opinion in the comments
