NOTES FROM THE TRENCHES: AC-OOO-USTIC NIGHT 2026
These are tough times, and we think music is one of those things that can bring people together instead of pulling them apart. Just people, music, and a shared space to enjoy both.
Ac-ooo-ustic Night started in 2025 when Blink collaborated with ES Plaza and its tenants for a Halloween gimmick.
Makiling Medika had a costume contest for the kids in the afternoon, and when the sun went down, the parking lot turned into a musical event organized by Blink, featuring a lineup of local bands and performers.
We basically slapped together a couple of loudspeakers, an audio mixer, some lights, and whatever equipment we could borrow. The performers brought their own instruments and amps, while ES Plaza tenants pitched in with food and water. And somehow, we pulled it off. This year, we did that again.
We owe a lot to SJ Flores of LiveLikeMorty, who has been helping bring together local talents for community music events like this. It's people like him, and everyone who pitches in, that make something like Ac-ooo-ustic Night possible. At the end of the day, this is what it is really about: community.

The universe willing, we'll keep doing this. And we hope you'll help us make it bigger, better, and louder.
