Such a blessing also to capture the elopement of Kim and Shane, and to catch up with the very awesome Mat Delaney - Marriage Celebrant and the wonderful team at The Falls Retreat. A stunning day with amazing people.

If you're searching for an elopement or low key wedding location, then look up Falls Retreat in the Karangahake Gorge. It's an ideal and stunning location in so many ways (there is a waterfall in walking distance and some ruins!) and the team there are wonderful (plus the food is epic). One of my recent visits was to photograph the elopement of Carl and Reizsha. Such a beautiful ceremony, including a really special first look. Loved it!

I left this stunning wedding pinching myself. Not only did I get to witness the beautiful wedding of Rob and Haley (they are so adorable and wonderful to be around), I also got to meet some of their incredible friends and family members, AND, I got to eat some of the most divine food I think I have ever eaten (hats off to The Packhouse - Lumberjack Brewing- you are the bee's knees). I'd happily live this day over and over. Huge thanks to Rob and Haley for asking me to be their photographer, it really means the world to me you asked me, and a shout out to Haley's brother Ryan for his fantastic help with the couple shots, and to Ash who was awesome as the celebrant. Plus, thanks to the guys who helped move things for me after the ceremony so the group shots could happen smoothly- you're all stars! What a day!!
