Remember those huge storms that hit Queenstown recently? 🌧️

Well, Chloe and Ian weren’t about to let a little (or a LOT of) stormy weather get in the way of celebrating 10 years of marriage! 🤍

What was meant to be an outdoor ceremony at Jack’s Point turned into a beautiful, intimate celebration sheltered in the incredible Lightworx Gallery, who so kindly opened their doors to let us use their space.

Celebrating a decade of marriage, the life they’ve built together and their beautiful family of four, renewing their vows with their two girls by their side. A reminder that it’s not always about everything going to plan, but about the people you get to share it with.

A huge thank you to Lightworx Gallery for giving us a beautiful space to make this day happen, and to the wonderful Sarah Noble Celebrant Officiant + MC Queenstown based for such a beautiful ceremony ✨

A maternity shoot with a very special secret 🤍⁣

Michael and Thea are road tripping around New Zealand in their campervan, getting ready to welcome not one, but two little ones into the world. So when Michael got in touch to organise a maternity photoshoot at Jack’s Point, Thea thought they were simply heading out to capture this incredibly special chapter together.⁣
⁣
What she didn’t know was that behind the scenes, Michael and I had been secretly planning something a little extra...⁣
⁣
At golden hour, as the sun began to dip behind the mountains, Michael got down on one knee and asked Thea to marry him 🥹⁣
⁣
It was such a special moment to witness, and I feel incredibly lucky to be trusted to capture moments like these! 🤍

A growing family, a New Zealand adventure, a surprise proposal, lots of very exciting reasons to celebrate! Congratulations Michael and Thea. What a chapter you’re about to begin! ✨⁣

Fresh snow, bluebird skies and the perfect mountain setting for a very important question! 🤍🏔️💍⁣

Dean had been in touch with me to plan the perfect snowy Queenstown proposal, and the weather gods really did deliver! Fresh powder, beautiful blue skies and the most incredible mountain views made for the perfect morning for Dean to get down on one knee.⁣

And, of course, Samika said YES! 🥹🤍⁣

I feel so lucky to be able to capture moments like this, and this one is definitely going to be hard to forget. Thank you, Dean and Samika, for such a fabulous morning and for trusting me to be part of such a special moment.⁣

A few sticks thrown, plenty of giggles and some very sweet candid moments later… I think they earned a permanent spot in the gallery 📸⁣

I’m all about family photoshoots being relaxed, playful and full of genuine moments, and sometimes the best moments are the ones you never planned for! ✨⁣
