🎥 Coming Soon - Bespoke Visual Storytelling on Super 8 film!

At JMC, I am always looking to try new things and expand my creativity. Since last year, I have been working with a Canon Super 8 camera from the 1970s. Shot on Kodak Film, the results have that yummy analog graininess and texture that feels both warm and cinematic. To me, film celebrates the light leaks, the shadows, and all the imperfections in a world that has become incredibly filtered and bland.

In the near future, I plan to offer bespoke video storytelling on film. Perhaps to capture a love story, a surprise engagement, or just how "life looks at the moment" for you and your family.

Hosted by Richard and Tatiana, this workshop was held at the beautiful The Run 15 venue in Matata. The afternoon was filled with bits of history, lots of laughter, and of course, delicious chocolate!

✨ Golden Hour Goddess ✨

Here are just a few sneak peek images from my photoshoot with Pearl last weekend. Looking at the weather, we moved it a day earlier, and I am so glad we did! The evening was perfect for golden, sun-drenched, storybook photos with this beautiful Mama.

After our initial conversation about the vibe and aesthetic for this shoot, I designed and created this headpiece, mimicking the colours of the setting sun. ☺️👑

I had the pleasure of taking photos for Theatre Whakatane Inc's production of Matilda and then attending Opening Night on Wednesday. It's a high-energy, hilarious show with a cast and crew bursting with talent and giving it a 110%! I recommend checking it out if you can. On stage at the Whakatāne Little Theatre until May 30. 🎭
