Last night was the fist time in 4 years that I was not able to attend a Camera Club meeting (thanks Covid)!!! 🫩 But I was really grateful to read that my 3 judged images did well.

A fav photo of mine "Hector" received Honours and was chosen top image in the Open section 🥰. "Dahlia" in the open section & my A&P Show Photojournalism photo both received good comments and Highly Commended.

Several weeks ago I found this absolutely gorgeous vintage copper kettle at an op-shop and as much as I tried to resist, I simply had to bring it home!
So what could be better than to combine it with the most beaaauuuuuutiful flowers from Moose Cottage Plants and a bit of light painting in a dark room!
The result... great gorgeousness! 🧡🧡🧡

I’m excited to finally share this set of images that took me 7 months to put together from mid 2025 to early 2026.
It is a Product Photography set which I used to apply for Associate Honours with PSNZ. Unfortunately it didn’t quite make the grade, but I’m still super proud of the images I made (some were really difficult!!) and I learned heaps from doing it, so in my opinion that is still a win.

Thanks to the PSNZ Honours Board, they do a great job which I’m sure isn’t always easy.

Camera Club was really good last night, smashed out the AGM quick as a flash and enjoyed some activities.
3 images up for judging by my current SIT tutor which received 2 merits & an Honours so very pleased.
The Boxer which I took at the PSNZ Regional conference back in 2024 lended itself to a beautiful black & white conversion and took judges fav image for the Open section. 🖤🩶🤍

Hello all!

I’m just writing to say sorry I’ve been absent! Just been super busy finishing a set of 12 photos over the summer and now full time into my last Diploma in Photography Paper!!!

Woohoooooo nearly finished!! 🤩

I’m working on a 20-30 image portfolio which will eventually be displayed on a website that I’ve got to make! Really exciting and I can’t wait to show you all my hard work… eventually!!!

Some days I feel like this lady! 🤣
