What a great day out at the beach today ..take 2 with Ruahine Endurance Club at Scotts Ferry

We definitely got lucky with the weather — the rain stayed away!

Lots of beautiful horses and plenty of moments to capture.

And Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there — hope you’ve had a lovely day!

Ruahine Endurance Ride
What a fantastic day out with the Endurance Riding Club yesterday!

I was there capturing riders across the 40km, 20km and 12km rides,in the showers and windy conditions with plenty of action, beautiful horses and those special moments along the way.

Practicing tonight with the different settings on this lens, and so far, we’re coming along nicely!
So tonight’s model was Diesel
He was actually very good on command… which is handy when you’re trying to photograph dogs!
A bit more practice and I’ll have this lens figured out in no time.

Putting the new lens through its paces! Before next Saturday..
Today’s little model is this handsome fella!
Look out the clip is ruff as I havnt finished it for him he's not showing so it truly dosnt matter to me.
That tail is looking good!

Loving the results so far and having fun getting out there and putting the new gear to work.
Once we have better weather I can really tidy him up.

Happy Birthday to our beautiful horses.

Today is a day to celebrate every horse, but for us it's also a day of remembering the ones we have lost..

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dream and Fudge. Though you're no longer by my side, your hoofprints are forever in my heart. I miss you every day.

To my beauty Falco and little Splash... Happy Birthday! Thank you for filling my days with lots of laughs, cuddles and hugs you give me. You remind me every day just how special u truly are.

Today we celebrate the ones we can still wrap our arms around and give a hug, while quietly remembering the ones we'd give anything to hug just one more time.

Happy Birthday to all my friends' horses, wherever they may be. I hope they have a wonderful day filled with love, treats, plenty of carrots, and maybe even an extra apple or two.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever family.
