The sun was setting across Lake Taupo.
Imogen stepped into the water for a quick sunset dip. Just taking in the last of the colour as the day slipped away. A quiet moment at the edge of daylight that felt worth holding onto.

Sometimes the simplest moments carry the most calm. I took this shot last week on a photoshoot outing with my daughter. It was taken at the Te Atatu Pony Club horse paddock.
This daisy stood out to me as it was catching the last of the evening sun, soft, steady, and quietly beautiful in its own space.
Captured on my Sony A7 III with the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 Macro G OSS II, a combo I absolutely love. The way this setup isolates these small pockets of light and stillness is just magic to work with.

Wildflowers, golden light, and a stillness that lingers.
Captured in the Te Atatū Peninsula pony club paddock, just as the sun slipped beneath the horizon. Shot on my Sony A7 III with the Sony FE 70–200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II. I literally shoved my lens deep in the wild blooms to find a perspective most people never see.
Absolutely loving this camera and lens combo, it continues to surprise me with what it can pull from the fading light. Also I hardly need to do any post work in Photoshop with the photos.
