Sometimes life takes you far away, to a small village hidden from the world, far from your country, far from the life you once knew.
And maybe there’s always a reason for that.

You don’t need to fully understand it.
If your heart tells you it’s the right path, just go with it.

This is what I thought when I met Prisca and listened to her story.
From Paris to Venice, and then to Badolato , the ancient village where she finally found a place called home, a place where her art could breathe.

A long journey… but maybe exactly the one she needed.

D•MOMENT with Naz in Cappadocia 🇹🇷

She welcomed us, checked us in, and prepared our breakfast during our stay in Cappadocia. Such a lovely girl, with a passion for traveling and a great desire to visit Italy someday. Portraying her was the least I could do to thank her for her kindness.

He really was touched in the heart when he saw the photos, and seeing that made me emotional too.

Here in Cyprus, I met Sotiris, and once again I was reminded of how kind and welcoming strangers around the world can truly be. Not only did he allow me to portray him, he invited me into his place, shared his time with me, and even performed a traditional dance to show me a piece of his culture.

But the moment that stayed with me the most was watching him look at himself through my photographs. You could genuinely feel how deeply it touched him. 💛

What may seem unusual at first glance is in fact a proud and centuries-old tradition from Northern Norway.

Every winter, young kids gather along the docks to cut cod tongues, an artisanal job passed down from the older generations. Far from exploitation, this tradition is deeply respected within the local communities. It teaches responsibility, patience, craftsmanship, and the value of hard work, while also giving the children a chance to earn their own money and enjoy the camaraderie of working together.

The cod tongue itself is considered a delicacy, served in restaurants and cherished on family tables across the region. I was privileged enough to witness and capture this fascinating tradition: something that first appeared almost surreal to my eyes, yet revealed itself as a beautiful cultural heritage full of pride and meaning.

A special thanks to Joan and Elizabeth for allowing me to capture and share photos of their son Melvin 🙏🏻

Happy Norwegian National Day 🇳🇴
This land has now become a place I can call home. Celebrating its culture through these marvelous photos feels truly meaningful to me.

In these photos, I portrayed a young Norwegian girl wearing her ‘bunad’, the traditional national costume. One of the things that fascinates me the most about Norway is this beautiful tradition. Every single detail tells a story and gives the feeling of being brought back in time 🕰️

What makes it even more special is that these garments are often handmade with incredible craftsmanship and traditionally inherited through generations, from parents and grandparents, becoming a true family treasure.

You can truly feel the pride and love Norwegians have for preserving this tradition, and that is something I deeply admire.

A special thanks to for being my model, and to for letting me use the amazing historical location.

Generations of fishermen. Generations of memories. Generations connected to the same land, the same sea, the same identity.

And it made me think:
In a world obsessed with chasing what’s next, many people are slowly forgetting where they come from.
But our roots, our family stories and our history are the real treasure.

Because when history disappears, part of our identity disappears with it.

D•MOMENT with Ali in Istanbul 🇹🇷

I’ll never forget the moment I met Ali and experienced his kindness.

He spent time with me and allowed me to take his portraits. He didn’t speak English, yet photography became our way of connecting. He was simply happy in the moment and wanted nothing in return, even when I insisted on paying him for his time. This will always remind me that kindness doesn’t need a price.

Sometimes, the people who have the least end up showing us the most. 💛

Themistocles and April welcomed me with such warmth, humor, and hospitality that the experience became much more than just taking photos.

What I loved most was seeing how alive their Cypriot roots still are, even all the way from Alaska. There’s something beautiful about carrying two places in your heart and being able to call both of them home.

Moments and people like these are the reason I love doing what I do. 📷

With his sun-bleached hair, vintage skater style, and passion for surfing, you’d probably guess Frode grew up somewhere along the California coast. But he’s actually born and raised in Stavanger, Norway, where he owns two clothing stores and lives life with a relaxed mindset rooted in gratitude and good energy 💛

Meeting him in Stavanger turned into one seriously cool D·MOMENT.

Watching moving so gracefully with those silk fans, it was like she became part of the landscape, blending perfectly with the water and the gentle breeze. There was such a natural synergy between her flow and the surroundings; it honestly felt magical.
