REMOTE FARMS | OFFICIAL SELECTION | CANNES 2026
We are proud to announce that Remote Farms has been officially selected in competition at the 23rd Festival International du Film Panafricain de Cannes, taking place from October 21–25, 2026, in Cannes, France.
Since 2004, the festival has been an important platform for Pan-African cinema, bringing together filmmakers, artists and audiences through a diverse programme of films, cultural events and the DIKALO Awards.
Remote Farms, a Cameroon–Sweden production, explores child labour, exploitation and the lasting consequences of silence within the global cocoa industry. We are honoured to share this story as part of a festival celebrating African cinema and storytelling.
Our sincere thanks to the festival organisers for selecting our film, and to our entire cast, crew, collaborators and supporters in Cameroon, Sweden and beyond who helped bring Remote Farms to life.

We look forward to sharing Remote Farms with audiences and fellow filmmakers in Cannes.
